Time to detox. One of the several detoxifying organs in the human body is the skin. The lungs, kidney, liver, and large intestine are also detox organs. Toxins leave the body through sweat. Full, or profuse, sweating on the regular is good for you and necessary. Twice a week (at least)! 15 minutes, depending on the source. Today I am in a far infrared sauna to help restore my body to balance after an absolutely wonderful holiday season, filled with all manner of pleasurable indulgences! Keep in mind, toxins leave through the skin, and can also ENTER through the skin. So choose all-natural, chemical preservative free, skin products.
