Yoga. The art of prana; the art of breath. Practice your yoga with this in mind: one day at a time, one posture at a time, one breath at a time. This has been one of my mottos for decades in my personal practice. Your breath is your constant companion; your life force. Follow it closely, as it follows you. Never forcing it. Always aware of it. Today, I am making my practice about breath, not necessarily about the postures. Whaat?? How is that possible? Yoga asanas, or postures, are simply tools to access the real you, your essence. The door to your essence is prana; breath. So loosen your grip on perfect postures(no such thing), and focus on how the postures effect your breath. THEN, on how the breath effects your postures, your thinking, your everything.
