HOME OF THE PANTHERS 6TH EVENT → HOMECOMING DANCE & PARTY IN THE WOODS.

Welcome back to Dillon High, Panthers. We hope you enjoyed your Summer but now it’s time to get back to school and start studyin’ for those all important end of year exams. However, before things get too stressful for y’all, we’ll be throwing a Homecoming dance. So, get your prettiest dresses on, get your dates and get your votes in for Homecoming king and queen!

The Homecoming dance will be played out on the dash throughout the day.

Could you all please send in your Homecoming king and queen votes to our inbox? They will be tallied and the results will be posted halfway through the day.

ANONYMOUS VOTES WILL NOT BE COUNTED.

The party in the woods will happen in a chatzy later on in the evening, starting at 6 PM EST, so it’s fair for all timezones.

HOME OF THE PANTHERS 5TH EVENT → GRADUATION.

Four years ago, you were Freshmen starting out at Dillon High. Skip forward four years later, and here you are, collecting your diplomas. This is the start of the rest of your lives and everything lies ahead of you —- college, the job of your dreams, marriage, children… It’s all happening. All we can say is the teachers at Dillon High will miss you and hope you take one thing with you — clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.

TIMEJUMP! Due to the inactivity and loss of muse for a lot of our members with their current characters, we’ve decided to bring Graduation a little closer.

This event is for the seniors of the roleplay as they are the ones graduating, but if your character is younger or has already left Dillon High, they can be in the audience.

You can chatzy, GIF chat, para, text, tweet, whatever you’d like.

An explanation of what will be happening after Graduation will be posted shortly.

Event 03  → 20 Years into the future

Full name: Scarlett Mae Adkins Matthews Age: 38 years old Status: Married to Nate Matthews Children: Natalie Lynn Matthews; 13 yrs & Aiden James Matthews; 11 yrs Class Year:  Columbia University Class of 2019 (Literature major, Photography minor) Occupation: Fashion Photographer; often works for Vogue Magazine. Has also done some modeling, herself. Residence: New York City / Dillon, TX

Once the summer after graduation hit, Scarlett moved on with her life and started at Columbia. While she was never one to study too hard, she still found herself attending classes before anyone else. Using the spare time you're supposed to find yourself with, to thrust herself into the vast City of New York and dive into finding herself a career she thought might be worth while. Her ambitions had her doing everything in her power to prove her mother wrong like she had always hoped she would, and so that's what she set out to do. Make a name for herself, and prove everyone around her that she could be the best she possibly could - even with her sassy attitude.

Not once did she allow herself to put her art on the back burner, but after many years of photography study - she found love behind a lens as well as upon a blank canvas. Capturing moments she thought she'd never lose, even soon getting herself a job as an intern in her junior year within the most prestigious magazines the world knew too well. At first, she thought she'd be a journalist; taking her love for writing with her, which was what landed her the internship in the first place. Soon after, styling people became a hobby on the side, helping capture models in their best attire for test shoots. Little did she know, her skills and photos would land her a job as one of their head photographers, traveling the world to capture covers for magazines and moments of Fashion Week years later. 

Years after her career had taken off she'd gotten back in touch with her best friend, Nate Matthews, somehow their relationship blossomed like it always had in the past. And as their parents had always planned, the two ended up married -- unsure of how it was that they'd ever gone without each other in the first place. 

News of her first pregnancy at 25 took her off guard since she never dreamed of having a child, she had always been too afraid she'd turn into her own mother and leave the girl with emotional scars she could never take back. But once the little girl was in her arms, she vowed to cherish her with everything she had - but that didn't mean it turned her heart any less cold. Scarlett knew the girl would grow to be just as much of a spitfire as she had and she only hoped she'd have the same ambitions to become something great in the future. Her second child, Nolan, was much harder to conceive. But once Penelope was old enough, she wanted her to have someone to play with like she, herself, never had. The fact that he was a boy never came as a shock to her because she hoped for the sake of her sanity, another female would not invade her life only to give her more than a handful when they grew up. 

Scarlett has kept in touch with a few people from her high school years including her best friend Kaya, confiding in her when she feels life has gotten rough. Aria of course, never fell out of touch with her for one second. Often visiting her and her family when she has down time back in Texas, forever proud of the strong and wonderful people they had both become.

Children: Annabelle Marie Vasquez (11 years old)  Education: West Dillon High, Class of 2016 - University of Texas, Class of 2019 - UOT Medical School in Houston, Class of 2023 City of Residence: Dillon, TX Current Occupation: Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Dillon Memorial Hospital

Kalliope always thought she'd go off to Juilliard or Berkeley and continue with her love for dance, only to soon open a small ballet company and help children with their own passions. But soon she found herself staying in Texas to further her studies, keeping close watch on her mother who had grown ill during her senior year of high school. Due to this, her thoughts changed, and she found hope within the Medical field where she hoped she could help people like her mother. 

As she worked hard, showing her parents and herself that her studies were the number one priority, she soon became obsessive of getting her good grades. Hardly giving herself time out of her dorm room to have friends, her grades were the only thing that mattered if she wanted to get into the Medical school of her dreams. Something inside of her had changed, and while she was still the spunky girl who proved herself to be a rebel, she was now also someone who cared for others as much as she cared for herself. 

During her junior year of college she met the man she thought she'd fallen in love with, but the truth was, she was in love with her aspirations more. The two of them were together throughout the next 7 years enough he'd finally decided enough was enough. Kalliope did love him, and the child they had together, but sometimes her goals were more important. Saving lives, to her, seemed more important -- so she continued to work her long hours, getting time with Annabelle when she could. But once her husband left, things became harder and she transferred to Dillion Memorial, so Anna could have more time with her grandparents, and she could continue working in the medical field without having to worry that her child wasn't in good hands.

Kalliope continued to keep in touch with people from her past as much as she could, but sometimes she strayed from them, thus becoming the same loner they knew her to be before any of them truly got to know her.

HOME OF THE PANTHERS 3RD EVENT → HIGH SCHOOL REUNION

Reunited and it feels so good... 20 years have passed, lives have changed and the students have grown up. Only one thing will bring them back together -- their high school reunion. Time capsules will be opened, teenage feelings unveiled and people reunited. What a lovely evening...

We'll be setting ourselves 20 years in the future, so please use your future FC's for this time. 

Make sure to plot out what's happening with your character in the future! Are they still with their high school sweetheart? Still in touch with their best friends?

Everything that happens between characters in this time stays in this time as when we return to modern day it won't have happened.
