I bet she'd make a bomb ass documentary about my life. I need to schedule an interview wit' dis broad! Providin' she don't embellish nothin'. Can't have a biased press amirite?
🌷 -> you don't think i can tell when you're lying?, said lois (@hotscoop).
she's taken aback, by the steadfastness in lois' rhetorical claim ― although, she probably shouldn't be. for as long as she'd known lois lane, she'd been nothing but certain and confident in who she was, and what she believed in: the stark opposite to lana's existential back-and-forth, confusion and blind pursuit of true identity being her standard. it wasn't something she particularly admired about herself, and, therefore, she tried to hide it behind pleasant smiles and compassionate tendering of other people's wishes and needs, she always had:
lana just didn't know she'd been doing such a subpar job at it in the reporter's eyes.
however, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. no, it wasn't a bad thing at all: it was a relief, to be seen and accepted as she were. was this the reason why she'd always be the better fit for clark in a nutshell? the brunette turned on her heels, long hair gracefully falling against her back as she subconsciously slid her hands in her back pockets, ❝ actually, no, i didn't. but i'm happy to be proven wrong. ❞ it was a testament to just how close they'd gotten ― either that or lois' intuition was bulletproof, but lana found more comfort in the first option. an amused and curious smile tugged at her rosy lips, ❝ how'd you know? ❞

if you think of lois lane as the damsel in distress, then you have got her all wrong. even more is she than the hero who saves the day. yes, lois need not be hero nor victim; rather, she is a woman who carries chaos as stylishly as she wears lipstick. and diana prince? oh, well, diana prince is enamored with her. simply enamored: she's never met a woman like this before. starstruck as she is indeed, she brings her fingertip, just one, to trace over lois's wrist, circling over the soft skin again and again. and on her face is an expression that reveals her deep, deep admiration. if admiration soon shifts into desire, can you truly blame this amazon? this amazon who was born to worship women and be worshipped by them in return?
❛ and why would you be? ❜ her gentle, gracious smile does not reveal her teeth. it is like a secret kept hidden behind her closed mouth. but what she does do is lean forward, is whisper hotly in lois's ear. ❛ mischief looks delectable on you, lois. ❜
