not too differently from normal animals, to be honest! there Are small differences between normal animal feet and the mammalian egos’ paws/feet, examples being:

the large part of Wilf’s paw pads don’t have that little divot in the middle, meaning that he leaves heart-shaped pawprints

similar to Wilf, Yan’s paw pads don’t have the little divot, meaning she leaves heart-shaped pawprints, too

Ed’s hooves always the four lines on the main hoof/nail, mimicking the lines on a dog’s paw

if anything, the main difference lies in when they shift to their human form [example below]. their hands are mostly human, save for the pads of their fingers retaining their paw pad color depending on how much they shift.

(for the catlike folk, their fingers become thicker and their nails can sit inside the muscle like a cat’s nails, but we’re talkin’ paws rn, not nails dnifdjs)

I- I know you said you haven’t finished his design fully but is it possible to see Blank + Dark chilling? That was my immediate thought when you said ‘couples’ sorry

they’d be an interesting pair, i think! a bit more melancholy version of unus annus in a ways

The hellhound raises an eyebrow and his aura pulses a bit, curious as to why you’d want to pet him, but he allows it, resting his head on his paws.

Given the go-ahead, you place your hand on Dark’s back and gently pat the raised line of fur that follows his spine. It’s a bit concerning that you can feel the bumps of his spine through his fur, but he doesn’t seem bothered, so you don’t say anything. Though your hand tingles as if touching t.v. static, the fur is soft and cool to the touch.

You want to admit that it’s a big contrast to the wild fluffiness that is Wilford, but as Dark gives a quiet, content sigh, you focus back on gently petting.

upon touching his butt, you immediately realize that it’s a bad idea, as a heavy feeling of static runs through your hand and up your arm, causing you to rip your hand away. 

“I’d rather you didn’t,” Dark simply turns to you with a hint of a smirk as he tucks his legs back under him, before turning back to his paper and leaving you to message your aching hand.
