Revali was attaching the string to his bow, trying to fix it. He sat crossed legged on the hard wood that was beneath him. He stared out at the cliffs that were in front of him, he sighed. He placed the bow on his back, feeling the wood object touch his feathers. He heard the wood creak, startling the Rito slightly. He turned his head slightly to see Link standing behind him. He turned his head away slightly, glancing back at the cliffs.

Link’s lips turn down slightly at the rather noisy congregation in the halls. Yet again, the rumors of his parentage were circulating the royal court like a hornet’s nest around an unfortunate prey animal. In this case, it was him. What a lovely start to his week. Thankfully, he’d be free of the courts soon enough - Link would be heading back home to take care of his lands. Of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without the nagging feeling that something - anything would go wrong at the end of the day. Even so, Link chose to return home, wishing for nothing more than a fine glass of his favored wine && a sweet pastry to end his day.

When he gets home, the feeling is worse. He’s not one to usually be so paranoid, but after greeting the enthusiastic servants who had arrived to welcome him home, Link sets off towards his library. He could use a good book to calm down - this feeling - while unusual, he would grant - was hardly uncommon. His luck would ensure whatever it was would cross paths with his blade soon enough.

Reading further (without using just the NYT… like please give me other news sources) apparently there were 86 deaths in the chemical attack against civilians. So in a way, I can see the justification of attacking Syria. Obama said he would have direct military intervention if the leader didn’t go through with the chemical weapon ban and I guess this is a follow up to that promise.

Where this really strikes hard is that the leader of Syria signed a chemical weapon ban with Obama after being threatened with direct military intervention after a chemical weapon attack. So I guess this is a follow up on that threat. I can see the reasons but this is going to end badly. Who knows how many chemical weapons they have underground.

Reading more into it, apparently the Syrian leader used chemical warfare against civilians. That’s fucking horrible. I’m still reading into it though but it seems a military airstrip was targeted.
