like did you think the KIRIN who everyone in this world knows to be inherently merciful, bound to obey the ruler, and doomed to suffer+die if the ruler goes bad was sitting there cackling while people were getting executed for taking sick leave?? no really you looked at this poor woman literally already half dead as a result of the punishment of the heavens for things she did not do, and didn’t just murder her but spewed that line adding insult to injury??

...am I taking the fictional crappy fate of the Kirin too seriously? MAYBE but listen they can’t even murder the people and higher powers screwing them over and I think that’s sad. Maybe their monster servants SHOULD sneakily kill people for them just make it the right ones
