In my Ben 10 au, Azmuth has a different role.

Instead of being the creator of the Omnitrix, Azmuth is a famous universal inventor who creates machines that make the lives of all aliens better. He's also Grey Matter's father, with Zennith being their mother, as she and Azmuth are happily married in this au. They are very worried about how dangerous Grey Matter's job can be, with Azmuth even visiting Earth to make sure Grey Matter is okay, and even being a mentor to Ben and the other aliens. So, in this universe, Vilgax takes the role that Azmuth has in the prime Ben 10 universe, while Zs'Skayr(who is Ghostfreak's little brother in this au) takes Vilgax's role as the main villain whose goal is to steal the omnitrix from Ben and use it to take over the universe.

(Also, I made Zs'Skayr the younger brother because I thought it would be a funny subversion of expectation, as people would probably expect him to be the older brother)

Thinking about Psychobos' role in a Gwen 10 universe that has Zennith in Azmuth's role is especially interesting because Psychobos' entire motivation in the Prime universe boiled down to its essentials is basically just "First Thinker-senpai didn't notice me and I'm so pissed about it I'm going to swear revenge on his entire species and become better than him by any means necessary purely out of spite".

Given how Gwen 10!Zenith is much kinder to Malware, Albedo, and Myaxx than Prime!Azmuth, now I'm just imagining her being considerably nicer to Psychobos as well (or, at the very least, more polite and patient towards him) but him remaining evil due to interpreting it as her being condescending/passive-aggressive towards him.

(There’s also the factor that Cerebrocrustaceans in general are insecure and competitive in relation to the Galvan, you can even see it with Brainstorm, and Dr. Psychobos is just a more active example)

So I personally see the difference between Prime Azmuth and Gw10 Zennith and how they act towards others is that Azmuth rarely ever budges with how he acts around people (ignoring some obvious exceptions), so if he’s unimpressed with upon first meeting he’s unlikely to treat you worse or better than that later, even if you might deserve to be. While Zennith can act with more patience with people, if they fail to take advantage of that patience she will not tolerate them any further. (As seen with her leaving Azmuth after the Ascalon events and never coming back)

How they interact with Malware, Myaxx, Albedo, and Psychobos would be reflective of this I feel. There’s a lot you can say about how Azmuth treated Malware and Myaxx but he was at the very least very consistent with how he treated them. While Zennith offered more courtesy to them early on, and them taking that opportunity is reflected in their more favorable positions compared to their Prime counterparts.

Azmuth’s treatment to Albedo only changed once he um, did his whole thing starting in Alien Force. Which is, you know, somewhat fair. From there, how Azmuth treats Albedo does not greatly change despite Albedo becoming much more extreme as time goes on. While I see Zennith trying to politely talk Gw10 Albedo out of his fool’s errand of trying to find Azmuth, now that he’s gone and done it, she has very little patience for him and doesn’t consider his actions much of her business.

With Psychobos, Azmuth is fairly straightforward with him. He doesn’t think a rivalry between the two smartest species is worth either of their time or effort. Of course, this is unsatisfactory to Psychobos and he becomes more extreme. Still, Azmuth maintains this stance and relatively neutrality to Psychobos even as the latter tries to kill him.

Zennith with Gw10 Psychobos would be more empathetic with him at first. However, since Psychobos is highly unlikely to change his behavior just from that alone, Zennith would be much more tired with Psychobos than Prime Azmuth, resulting in Psychobos acting even worse than his Prime counterpart. Which is a good starting point for him copying the Omnitrix to make his own faulty one which syncs up with Gwen’s, similar to Prime Albedo.

What do you think of Zennith? She appears to be a good and kind individual. I would love it if she appears again. She definitely deserve better than Azmuth.

The storyline they had for her and Azmuth was very cute, so I'll agree that seeing more of her would have been interesting. But I think it also made Azmuth who he is, for better or worse.

When it comes to the course of the Ben 10 canon, Zennith leaving him pushed him to be more responsible with his intelligence and talent for invention, creating the Omnitrix, which then served to benefit the rest of the galaxy for years to come. But, it also left him clearly wounded to the extent of his attitude being as harsh as it is.

That does leave the door open to have her return be just as impactful, however, so maybe he does need his GF back lol.

Meet Azmuth and Zennith

The two newly engaged Galvans had been recently exiled to earth because of the recent war the Incurseans were having due to a invention Azmuth had invented, the omnitrix. The device attracted the incurseans to galvan prime due to the devices vast power to transform any living being to another form and give its user incredible powers, the device was thankfully destroyed by the diligent plumbers and Azmuth was caught and charged with creating a weapon of mass destruction (even though he clime it was for peace). It was settled that Azmuth would be exiled to the most cursed planet in the galaxy and he would live there for the rest of his life, but right before he would’ve been sent off Zennith insisted that she should be sent to earth with Azmuth and the plumbers for some reason agreed and threw her in the escape pod with azmuth.

But however Azmuth managed to smuggle a small amount of science equipment to earth and unbeknownst to anyone Azmuth managed to get all of the dna from the omnitrix and he has special plans for that.

but it involves a LOT of planning and making sure that nobody untrustworthy knows of his experiments and he needs some.. worthy people to help him.

Meanwhile Zennith decided to make the most of everything and has started working out! maybe she can master it one day!.... and theres another reason that she tried to tell Azmuth but he wouldn’t listen when she tried to tell him.

that she was enlisted in the military, she had to get money for the house somehow and its a new gateway for new friends that can help her with this weird new world!

A new couple in a new world with new thoughts! will Azmuth learn about zennith will Zennith learn about Azmuth? And what in the world is Azmuth going to do with the DNA samples?!
