um idk I drove through Mississippi once and all the roads were mainly potholes. idk i've heard the schools aren't that good? but i'm from GA so it's not too much better in some areas

omg so so many potholes! what part did you drive through? (just curious) 

and it depends on where youre looking at for the schools thing. like the coast chapter of usm has one of the best marine bio programs, and gis programs. and ole miss was the only SEC school to make the top 20 list on forbes best colleges. but public / high schools vary from school to school but they aren’t like the super high class private schools (though we do have a few of those down here on the coast)
