won a small plot in the lav beds for luna and i yesterday!
A few months back I moved into new digs--built in 1896 and loaded with original woodwork. I am slowly adjusting to living with more people than just my partner, but the dragon on the newel post is a good lad.
Going to have my own place (shared with my brother Jay) soon. I'm still getting over the fact that we can decorate however we want (OR NOT AT ALL.)
I can have my 3D printer out and visible instead of hidden in my room! I can put my Portal 2 poster out for all to see! Cowboy Bebop wall art! D20 lampshades! All-genders sign on the bathroom! Map of Middle Earth etched into the dinner table! NO MORE SEASONAL FLORAL EVERYWHERE THANKS MOM.

We (a human man, absolutely not 3 kobolds hiding inside a trenchcoat) attended a surface ritual of “moviegoing”. The ritual circle was in fact a cube but was called “Regal” so it must have been a very important cube – still not as good as a circle though. No mushrooms were growing in it, either. Finally got around to cleaning the bathroom.
The spots I thought might’ve been hair dye stains on the tub are, in fact, spots where the enamel has chipped off, and the metal of the tub is exposed and it is beginning to rust underneath. There are also a variety of actual stains, which is really annoying because it just makes the bath look nasty even though I scrubbed and scrubbed :| also nervous about the rust in the bath water...
ALSO the fucking mirror has what seems to be a permanent sticky coating on it, because I scrubbed THAT today as well and it’s still just as sticky as ever.
on the plus side, the substance that I thought may be blood does not appear to be blood. But it also didn’t come off.
The landlord probably won’t do anything about either of these things, and the tub I can probably use a liner or something, but the mirror is incredibly annoying given you have to touch the mirror itself in order to open the medicine cabinet behind it. It gets fingerprints instantly because it’s literally tacky to the touch.
