When Pat asked if he wanted to get dinner, Jonny had said yes without thinking twice. He loved living with Seabs and hanging out with the guys, but it was still nice when it was just him and Pat and no one else there to tease them for not being able to drink in the States yet. They'd been spending time together more, just the two of them, and even though Pat came across kind of immature sometimes, Jonny was actually really enjoying it.

That night, Jonny threw on a mostly clean pair of jeans and an old Shattuck hoodie. He grabbed his wallet and rolled his eyes as Seabs called out, telling him to be home by ten with a grin like he thought he was funny. Pat had insisted on driving for some reason, and when Jonny got down to the Hummer, he froze when he saw Pat. He was in nice slacks, and a button-down shirt that looked ironed. Which meant he'd asked Mrs. Bowman to do it for him, which he hated. Even weirder, Pat's curls were matted down with gel. He looked like..
