With the popularity of "composing by ear" with DAWs lately, I wanted to give an example of a case when using notation to help identify weaknesses in orchestral parts can still be a valuable resource and make the resulting orchestration even stronger.

Starting an illustration can be hard. Trying different ideas, see what works. It can be really easy to start drawing the first thing that came to your mind, but chances are that you will not be happy with the results.
