like I don’t get why there is so much steve/bucky/peggy* when bucky and peggy didn’t shared two lines of dialogue in the movies while with howard (especially after agent carter) you have so much room to play with the relationship between howard and peggy and how both relate to steve I MEAN

I'm crying overwhelmed tears at the Agent Carter finale

1) Dottie is still alive. 2) Howard canonically loves Steve. This is the second time his feelings for Steve have been directly compared to Peggy’s. “I know you loved him. I loved him, too.” 3) Peggy talking Howard down in a clear parallel to how she tried to save Steve, only this time she succeeds. 4) Peggy turning down a date with Sousa to meet up with Angie and ANGIE MOVING IN WITH PEGGY JUST LIKE IN THAT FIC I READ LAST WEEK. 5) Peggy returning the last piece she has of Steve, the last vial of his blood, to Brooklyn, saying goodbye as she pours him into the river from the Brooklyn bridge.

Proof that I should stop thinking sometimes: Last night I came up with a name for Howard/Steve/Tony.

Though technically I guess it's Howard/Steve and Steve/Tony since that's what all those weird rare fics are doing, I think there's a grand total of two or something, which I'm not saying is a bad thing 'cause really Howard/Tony isn't my cup of tea. Howard/Steve isn't my cup of tea either but whatever, my brain = something I can't control.

Now I have this weird messed up idea about why Howard spent so much time looking for Steve and that he left a letter for Tony saying he fucked Steve and btw they own him so if you find him he's yours.

Ficlet: Howard/Steve - Reminiscent

Written for the amazing Kay~ My inspiration - to the same song she wrote hers to which is here. 

Steve had been awake only for a couple of weeks now. 

He had a designated room in headquarters and they had tried to make him as at home as possible by giving him items from his era. he walked over to the the little box that was left for him, items that he may want to use from his time. As he picked up a small chunk of metal, that must have somehow gotten in there, he turned it over to see the old Stark Industries logo. 

He traced his long, slender fingertips over the logo, eyes filling with sadness. He hadn't had the chance to tell him what he had truly felt, which was far more than gratitude. 

He was gone now and there was nothing that Steve could do about it. 

"I shouldn't have left you behind..." He whispered with deep remorse, visualizing the defined and attractive features of Howard Stark as he shut his eyes. He held the metal close to his chest, his head lowered so that his blonde bangs shadowed his face, "I'll never forget you, Howard..."
