( pic by pxhere ) If there is one thing I see the most whether here on instagram or out in the real world... it’s this sign! What bothers me is I also have plenty of this within myself. I’m pretty evenly mixed between outgoing and social to being pretty reserved and private. It’s downright depressing seeing how many walls everyone has up all the time. It’s a little easier in the real world because people see you and you see them and there is more information to go on... but online, unless your really open about who you are and give people something to like about you... it’s tough! But I’m not a sell out! So, I’ve made my decisions and am sticking by them. But online everyone wants you to prove your a winner first before they will give you the time of day... or they want you to come to them so they are always secure and don’t have to risk even being kind. (Social graces don’t count! ) and if you have an opinion they don’t like... your out! And I’m not picking out one person or two... this is pretty much everyone! Of course, I don’t really make it easier because I tend to not hold my punches... I mean I do, but then there’s a point you reach where your going to either say something you don’t mean and now your lying... or you just got to say what’s real to you... which then probably sends you to the benches. In the real world, I have some advantages... I’m not ugly, I’m easy to talk to... mostly... if I’m not being reserved... and I look people in the eye and am direct but easy going... Online, I’m just direct... not as great! But hey, in the real world I don’t have a choice of how I look or how much info I give off on first impressions. But online I do... and so I choose to just be just words and see what happens... and what I’ve learned is what I’ve already said. So be it, you don’t know me! And I’m not selling out!
