Don't get in the van!

When I was a kid, we were told repeatedly not to accept things from strangers. Predators knew that they could lure kids with things like lollipops. It was known that kids that went with strangers had a high probability of something traumatic, & possibly life-ending, happening to them.

As kids of the '80s & '90s, we've grown up & apparently forgotten about stranger danger.

People are trying to tempt you with a lollipop so don't get caught slipping because you went for it instead of asking some basic questions.

If all I have to do to stay alive is ask some basic questions, I'm going to ask every time. The moral of this little story is by asking questions you can save yourself from the van!

The job of a leader is to bring out the leader in those under them. Honestly, a true leader doesn't necessarily feel they're above anyone else.

Real leaders also value everyone's time on their team. Valuing people involves valuing their time, aka don't waste their time, because once It's gone, it's gone!
