It’s my first time on skates since I injured my knee (not while skating) in 2014. My gear is tighter than I remember and I’m basically a beginner again. Beginner hazard I remembered: wheels roll. Beginner hazard I forgot: wheels stop. I haven’t been around in a while, huh? So much has changed in my life since I logged on last. I’m nearly finished with undergrad and have started grad school, I moved to a new (amazing) city and into an apartment with my partner and cat, and I’m doing more of what I love!
I never had a huge audience on here and never wanted one, but if we crossed paths know that I thought about you and cared about you if we chatted.
There’s nothing to stop me posting on here again - so maybe I’ll actually use this account again. It’s such a weird collection of a very tumultuous time in my life and all the ways I felt and changed over time, and I love that I have this archive.

81/365: Built a rail/slappy thing out of wood I had laying around and metal that I found in the attic. Made one of the slanted sides taller than the other for some variety. The last time I did a nollie lipslide, or skated a rail at all for that matter, was 15+ years ago.
