Est. August 2014 as a personal response to the immediate aftermath of police shootings in Ferguson, Mo., the Impolite Society Dinner Party Series (#iSDPS7) is a salon style gathering fashioned after the Parisian style custom of the French literary and philosophical movements of the 17th and 18th centuries. Per the salon tradition the gatherings are hosted by women and centered around in depth social, personal and political conversations relevant to the communities represented by the attendees.
