“Hold on, to the painted sky. Where we will be unified. As I stand inside, where butterflies never die.” ~Broken Iris
Thinking about how much Alastor seems to be struggling after the battle with Adam. He always puts up a particular social mask of being affably evil, playful, and like hes trying to alleviate boredom. But since he got slashed and realized he almost died, he's been acting so odd. Especially with how he talked to Rosie before her song.
I think that Alastor is under such stress and his ego is so bruised that he's begun to emotionally regress. Regression isnt always going back to a more childlike emotional state under ten. He's literally behaving like a frustrated teenager, and many people have said as much. He even calls the hotel "stupid" which seems like too simple of a word for his vocabulary and typical poise. Id say hed maybe use a word more like "inane," "ridiculous," hell, maybe even "cockamamy," with how old he is.
Hes always given the energy of someone who hasn't ever been the "proper age" emotionally, as many of Viv's characters do, but this is pretty significant of a change. Hell really is full of a bunch of people who just never got to grow emotionally and are acting like its either middle school or grade school recess.
by the way i fucking hate how no one can just say they don't like something anymore. like no one can say "i don't enjoy this" they have to go "here's a call out post on the creator so my little haterisms are morally righteous" no one can say "this is derivative bland and uninspired" it's fucking "omg did ai make this this feels ai generated" like goddddd it's one thing to be a little hater but at least admit that the guy who made it. y'know. MADE the damn thing.
anyway what kind of money do you have to have to rent out an entire amusement park and where can i get some of that
i just think the scene where jacob is introduced in the first ep of the librarians is so fucking well done. i have never imprinted on a character faster than this funky cowboy man who for one second lets slip in his small minded hometown how much he knows about world cultures and then almost gets sliced in half with a katana for it. goddamn iconic
It's not as if Oganesson was an element that existed for long enough to have a natural, stable elemental plane by its hand.
But now that most of the universe is old enough to mash atoms together in Very Big Tubes, it has to gain and lose metaphysical organs that these elements represent on repeat.
It sucks.
Yes I’m a sucker for an abused traumatized villain and borderline jaded traumatized hero interaction, how did you know
