#BatonRouge Police Officer #BlaneSalamoni has been fired for violating use-of-force polices in the #AltonSterling shooting, Police Chief #MurphyPaul told reporters Friday evening. Salamoni's attorney indicated the officer will appeal the chief's decision, Paul said. Paul said the other officer involved, #HowieLake II, will be suspended for three days without pay for losing his temper during the incident. The two officers had separate disciplinary hearings Thursday night. Paul said Salamoni chose not to answer any questions at his disciplinary hearing. Lake answered every question, the chief said. When asked what he would say to the Sterling family, Paul said: "They are in our prayers. ....
