I completely understand how you feel, but trust me it’s never as bad as it seems in the moment. You just have to teach yourself how to tell when you should push your boundaries and when you really do just need alone time.

It's more the fact like.. will I feel crap and awful when I'm hanging out with people, or will this mood go away once I'm surrounded by friends?

Usually it's the latter, but it sucks so much when it's the former 'cause all I want to do is build a cubby and crawl into it, and I get really mean and awful and it makes people hate me.

Understandably though.
