How can I even review a Jadaone film? 😣 The movie started with a clever narration on singlehood. Chinggay's predicament is very real, and very Pinoy, especially these days where social pressure on single women to be attached is quite the norm. The story veers away from that find-that-prince-and-live-happily-ever-after scenario where everything's perfect like a fairytale, which makes it more relatable! You can hear the audience react to every 'hugot' line while shouting #TeamTisoy or #TeamChinoy Two thumbs up for Chinggay and the gang, her family and the two prince charming chasing after her. Ikaw na! #HowToBeChinggay Hung pinakatagos na linya about women like Chinggay (haha sino kaya yun): "Tayong mga single ng mahabang panahon, mahirap mahalin. Kasi hindi natin sila kailangan." . Soooo.... note to self after watching the film: happiness doesn't always mean that you have to be with someone. You are complete on your own. Okay lang mag isa... okay rin kung may darating.
