Tutorial: How to draw an anime eye?

For this mini-tutorial you will need only coloured pencils and a thin, black marker.

(I've used Kooh-I-Noor Polycolor coloured pencils).

Step 1.

First, start with a flat colour. Fill the whole pupil. ⬇️

Step 2.

Use darker colour to make a gradient and to reinforce the pupil. Erase it a little bit in the bottom part to make it shine.

Add white to create an eyeball. You can use light grey to create a shadow.⬇️

Step 3.

Add an other, brighter colour (I use yellow here, but it depends on what colour you want the pupil to be). Then take a white gel pen and make some highlights.⬇️

Step 4.

The final step. Here you just need to outline the eyelashes by a black, thin marker. I've used the Sakura Micron 0,2 one here.⬇️

That's it! This is one of the easiest & the simplest ways to draw an anime eye for me. Hope you enjoyed :3
