I had the pleasure in helping out How To Train Your Dragon 2. It's very cool to be working with Dean and POV, even for a very short time. Costume design is definitely one of my favorite thing to do. As most you know, I LOVE clothing, accessories and shoes!!!! I'm really happy that DWA knows about this and I'm lucky enough to be asked to help out. And the movie is AHMAZING!!!! And this is my contribution for HTTYD2. In this movie, Astrid is in her young twenties. So she is more of a cool and hip college student age, not a teenager anymore. So her clothing needs to reflect that. She needs to look like a grown up, but still stay true to the original Nico design from the first movie.
I'll post some more concept art tomorrow with more explanation. Or maybe I should do a tuesdaytips on it. What do you think?
