Are you still writing headcanons? If you are could you write headcanons for, ut!sans, uf!sans, and us!papyrus about them being with their SO for a couple of years and they wake up to find they aren’t at 1 hp anymore, and now it’s slowly increasing? And they figure out some how that their SO is having such a great impact on their emotional health that its adding health points?

UT!Sans: In all honesty, I can actually see Sans keeping this to himself for the rest of his life. Because, yeah, this is huge! His HP has been hovering around 1 for literally uncountable years ever since the reality of resets started to set in. And seeing it above that….gods.

But its such a fragile thing. He doesn’t want to set expectations too high, for either you, or himself. This kind of recovery is similar in a lot of way to most mental health recuperation. There can be huge strides forward, only for them to collapse back if enough things are dropping. And if/when that happens, he doesn’t want it to meaningfully affect you. He doesn’t want you to see it drop and think that you’re somehow failing him. Not only that, but despite how long he’s been free, he still has that old caution about resets. He doesn’t want to let himself get attached to his number….only to see it come crashing down again.

Ultimately he rarely checks his HP, and probably you will never know unless you stumble across it. But everytime he sees that higher number….well. there’s a warm spot in his chest that’s hard to ignore.

UF!Sans: Likely just as reticent as his Tale counterpart but more likely to spill it when he’s feeling sappy and drunk (on love or booze. Or both). If it does end up coming out he tends to come down very hard on warning you that this probably isn’t permanent. His HP was catastrophically low even before the resets, and he doubts he’ll ever hit even the normal range of around 20.

Still, to a Fell monster especially that additional HP is an immeasurably valuable resource. Even post mountain there is an instinct towards arming yourself against potential threat, and extra HP is extra security. If you’ve been together for a few years he likely didn’t have plans to move on anytime soon but this is one of the few things that could get Red to contemplate proposing, of all things.

US!Papyrus: Stretch is a communicative creature. If you’ve been around him long enough chances are you matter enough to him that he wants to include you on where his own mental health journey is at, and while he’s ever the spin doctor and tries to present it in the least serious light he can, he wants you to understand the peaks and the valleys. To him, you’re owed that much.

He tells you at the same time he tells Blue, likely a couple months after he first noticed it. He wanted to be sure it wasn’t just a fluke. You rarely see Paps being outwardly emotional, but you can tell by now that he’s legitimately struggling to keep his tone even, and for once, even jokes fail him as you and his brother tackle him in excitement.
