Appreciative of the fact that we're all in agreement that SoGC Marvus was an era of some harsh awakening.

A fic where MSPAR ends up too far back on the timeline and runs into him there would actually be pretty compelling. Dealing with a Marvus that's at once more cynical and a touch more naive than the version you encounter in Friendsim and trying to break into that trust through sheer alien tenacity while also seeing a darker side to his origin.

I’ve also been thinking a lot lately about Marvus:Tegiri:Lanque where Marvus and Lanque are like. Less being auspiticized by Tegiri and more mutually trying to get this stupid otaku to just make out with them already and admit that they’re better than his stupid waifu, all the while Tegiri is perfectly convinced he’s Managing Them.

Like neither of them can handle being placed second to an anime character. They’ve never had to work hard for a pull in their life and now Marvus keeps opening some online cosplay resources and SERIOUSLY THINKING and he hates it every time.  Lanque goes for the standard nibble on the neck only to be pushed off by the guy who’s most frequent form of physical contact is his body pillows. “ I understand that ashen can be a confusing quadrant, Bombyx, but I’m spoken for and /oya/ only to my bride.
