#repost • @hpparchitekten PROJECTS: Together with bulwiengesa AG, HPP has developed a feasibility study for the re-use of the former Kaufhof department store in Hamm, which was presented last week. We are very pleased about the thoroughly positive reactions. The aim of the concept is to design a multifunctional, innovative and sustainable new urban quarter with human centric working and living environment as well as to enhance and strengthen the surrounding quarter. The concepts are based on the idea of creating a hard shell and a soft and green core inside the block. #repost • @hpparchitekten COMPETITION: 1st prize for the revitalization of the Jingyu Xingfa Cement Factory in Beijing together with the Beijing Institute of Architecture Design. The HPP concept takes the history and rich landscape resources of the area into account by preserving and revitalising the existing buildings from the industrial past. Together with a large number of complementary new buildings, an overall ensemble with qualitative open spaces is being developed.
