Merlin let out a wheezing laugh that peter's off into a gasp after a bit, “That's a good one Sal, this is coming from someone that would fight with his brother on who got the last honeyed bread.” Salazar shot a glare at him while stemming the bleeding on his side. Not that it's doing much considering he also drank poison.
“This is not the time father”, Merlin’s sure he tried to spit the word father in anger but it came out choked in pain. He doesn't blame him. He cried too when he held his father in his arms while he died. Huh he didnt mean for this bit to happen, history repeating itself, he thought he would die alone surrounded by nothing but the graves of his other children and his bitter thoughts and with parting words of a goddess.
