the way maddie took herself back to the hospital in Boston because she remembers seeing people heal within its walls when she worked as a nurse and how she chose to put herself in a place of needing care rather than providing it and in doing so finally said she deserved the time to receive.

#her work was a way to help and promote healing and was probably actually a place of refuse for her for so many of her Boston years #by going to her job she could do what she loved - and be away from doug #- now it was her turn to get healing and be looked after #so that her focus on getting back to her family could be a realistic goal #911 #911 spoilers #hrambles

okay but also can we discuss why buck is wearing his fire shirt underneath his turnout gear and not just the casual t-shirts as we have only ever seen them do?? is this another costuming put buck in a position outside of his comfort zone/ emphasise the uniform as his costume thing but in this scenario where eddie is in trouble again he can't fulfil that role and is just in breakdown

#I don't know man #but like he is the only one in his shirt(??) under his turn out gear (??)#and then buck in a shirt just fires me right back to 4x13/14 with his white shirt that was very much not firefighter uniform at all #I don't think I even know what I'm saying but it just feels WEIRD to me okay #sidenote: watch Eddie not be in trouble and actually just handling the heck out of the whole situation #BUT ALSO #911 #911 spoilers #Hrambles

I have decided that they are allowed to throw Bobby off the roof if — and only if — he survives to be able to explain to Buck how much he cares for him and does see him as a son and doesn’t want to ever see him hurt or in pain again, and that Buck is able to say how much he appreciates Bobby and sees him as his dad [because, “he might as well be.”] and then we get a big father and son hug and they all live happily ever after the end with Buck calling Bobby “Pops” again.

and they of course won’t be going down this route but imagine the episodes intensity takes a turn when it becomes a parallel to when joey and chandler have to look after baby ben for the day and they’re just running around new york with the carrier and stuff and accidentally leave him on the bus and end up at health services claiming to be both his father...

turns out this whole time tim has been gagged and tied up locked in a cupboard since the season 4 finale and the other writers have just taken control of the writing for season 5 and are having the absolute eddie-time of their lives

#Eddie won’t deal with his trauma #buck and Eddie have that brotherly bond #MY ASS TIM MY ASS #season 5 is the rise of Eddie and we shall see all manifestations come to life #there is someone in that writers room directly connected to ao3 and they feeding it right into the scripts #I’m telling you #I have read most of it out there #none of this is new to me #and yet I cannot flipping wait for the true visualisations on screen that will rip my heart from my chest #911 #Hrambles
