one day i’ll write up a proper family post for time, but for now all i’ll say is that he becomes a proud father of three beautiful children: two boys and a girl. the girl is the eldest. time is incredibly proud of them and loves them more than anything, and spends a lot of his free time with them. he teaches them how to read and write, how to ride horses and take care of the animals around the farm alongside malon. he teaches them compassion and to help others when they need it, and was beginning to teach his daughter how to defend herself if needed. he knows the value of time after all, and that time runs out for everyone and he wants to spend as much as he has with them.
unfortunately, when he dies fighting in hyrule’s war with a neighboring kingdom, they are only 12, 10, and 9 respectively. because of that, he was never able to teach his children everything else he knew, and his secrets died with him. after death, he wishes that he had more time with them, and regrets not being able to see them grow up. he finds comfort in the fact that they lived on however, and were safe and happy and had families of their own.
