I wanted demon blood sam back but not like this š
I act like this because I was raised by fairies
warm up doodles of OoT link (pre/beginning of the game) and MM link ā do you think people are ever unsettled by how much older his eyes are from his face?
Raise your hand if you played that fishing game in Ocarina of Time for HOURS as a kid and that hidden lure was like the holy grail
This was done for @legendofzelda-sidequestzine, which can now be downloaded for free by the way!
I hope you all have been having a wonderful September and are ready for October! ššš have a great friday you guys ā¤
Malon, The Young Shepherdess (original by William Bouguereau)
Wanted to do an update of this Malon and Link pic I did in like 2015?? I think I spent an hour this total. MY PRECIOUS BEANS LOOK AT HOW SOFT THEY ARE.
Calamity Link, The legend said that a hero with the name of Ganon is the only one who can defeat (or not) him

zeldaā.
She laughs at that.
Truth be told, she probably could qualify as a knight. Or at least, the court mage. Her magic was incredibly great, possibly the greatest in the kingdom, save for the great fairies. She trained it on a daily basis, to increase her stamina while using magic, and simultaneously increasing what she could do with it. Training was right after paperwork, as to make sure she was always on top of it. If there was a war, she would fight alongside her soldiers.
No one would take Hyrule over without killing her first.
āI think the only one more qualified than I am, is you. You are a great hero, and I am honored to have you as my wonderful friend. I would not trade your company for any in the entire kingdom.ā
the small smile tugs at linkās mouth until he canāt hold it back anymore, split halfway between a pleased grin and an impish smirk at her outburst of laughter. his comment had been made in jest, going along with her playful attitude, but the words and meaning behind it had been nothing short of true. heād seen zelda fight -- had seen her during the war, even if sheād gone by a different name. capable was putting it lightly. more thanĀ was more apt, he thought.
he inclines his head, both out of habit ingrained from training and experience as much as it is the overwhelming feeling of gratitude and devotion in his chest that he tries to control by keeping his expression somewhat hidden. zeldaās words hold a weight -- they always do -- and link is never foolish enough to take them for granted or rebuke them.Ā Ā ā i feel like youāre embellishing me a bit, princess.Ā ā Ā he replies, fighting his embarrassment and self doubt behind light-hearted playfulness.Ā Ā āĀ but the honor is mine. princess, i owe so much of my life to you. your friendship and trust all these years ...Ā āĀ he struggles to find the words to convey the sentiment he feels, the sheer amount of gratitude and respect he holds towards her.Ā Ā ā it has been invaluable. i would serve and follow you anywhere, as long as i live.Ā ā
honestly if someone tenderly cradled my face i think at this point i would probably blackout
i leftĀ homeĀ a child Ā Ā Ā and came backĀ to trumpeting heralds Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā and parades in my nameĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā and historybooks with my face on the front coverāā Ā Ā Ā a hero.Ā Ā i left home a child Ā Ā Ā and came back a hero Ā Ā Ā but no one seems to see that a hero is a warrior Ā Ā Ā andĀ a warrior must first be born of war. Ā and i see too many children Ā Ā Ā Ā chasing after my footprints with joy Ā Ā Ā Ā wearing armour like blankets and helmets like crowns Ā Ā Ā Ā laughing with eyes bright as the faraway glint of sniper scopes. Ā and i do not want to leave a legacy Ā Ā Ā of bloodstains and bruised knuckles Ā Ā Ā and teeth clenched around burning bullets. Ā and i do not want anyone else to leave home a child Ā Ā Ā and come back a hero tasting blood on every passing wind and regret on every shaking breath. Ā but i left home a child Ā Ā Ā and came back a hero Ā Ā Ā and only a heroāā Ā āānot the historian who writes the legends Ā Ā Ā or the god who writes the starsĀ and i do not have it in me to stop the next warrior Ā Ā Ā who leaves home a child Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā and comes back a hero.

I replayed at the ocarina of time of nin64 during this holidays, and I had forgotten how much I loved this game š

Link waited patiently as the other continued to process what he had repeated to him. It seemed to take a while and he was almost concerned for the other. The way he seemed to stare at the ground, the way he could hear the intake of his breath. He wondered if the other possibly knew someone named Zelda a Zelda who obviously wasnāt a princess. But even then he wondered why the other was reacting in such a way as if such a fact was almost beyond belief. Surely the time he came from had a royal family. The history of Hyrule was certainly vast and while by no means no expert that seemed to be a long lasting thing. āIām going to guess you know someone also named Zelda who isnāt royalty.ā It was certainly a far away subject from how they would get the other back home and the question about the Master Sword that had caused all this. But they surely had time. He was willing to allow the other to process as long as needed. He could understand completely the overwhelming feeling of having something huge being thrown in his direction. Being transformed into a wolf, finding out he was the chosen hero were certainly moments that came to mind.Ā
sky shook his head. Ā ā mmh-mm. my zelda is amazing, but she isnāt the princess of a kingdom. sheās a spirit maiden? ā Ā he pursed his lips, tilting his head as he gave a shrug.Ā Ā ā but that isnāt the same thing, i donāt think. we lived on skyloft --- a small island in the sky.Ā we live on the surface now, but itās just us and a couple of others ... i donāt even know if sheād want to be a princess.Ā āĀ the thought brought a smile to skyās lips, and he couldnāt help but laugh. his zelda probably wouldnāt like to be stuck behind the scenes: sheād want to be on the front lines, even if it gave him and her father a heart attack.Ā Ā āĀ but if anyone could lead a kingdom, it would be her.Ā āĀ Ā
he allowed himself a moment more of awe before shaking his head and offering up a sheepish smile.Ā āĀ sorry! guess you kind of surprised me there. so ...Ā āprincessā zelda is a common thing here, then? er ... now? ā

āYes⦠I can speak.ā He spoke a bit more slowly his confusion obvious in expression in tone. He wondered did people around here simply not talk much? Was there a reason his apparently ability to talk seemed to be such a surprise? He wasnāt sure if he should question the boy and the fairyās reaction or not. He might not get an answer that made a lot of sense to begin with. Besides that the boy was staring at him rather intently he wasnāt sure any questions that he asked would get any sort of answer. But much to his surprise the boy seemed more willing to answer the simple question even if it wasnāt one the younger was obviously expecting.Ā
At least that answered he was still in Hyrule no matter how different it might have looked. Maybe he was simply in a different town. A place he hadnāt yet seen it would be odd but not completely unexpected. At least until the boy continued to question about Castle Town. There was a few moments of silence as Link looked around a bit more closely. The building behind the boy was unfamiliar and he could see a street that likely lead the main area of the town. āIāve been to Castle Town.ā He spoke his eyes away from the boy as he tried to further inspect what little he could of the town. āBut this is not the Castle Town I remember.ā He had gotten lost enough times in the town to be more than familiar with it. He was certain nothing in the immediate area was in the town he had traveled to many times in the past.Ā
There was a moment of silence before he looked at the boy and fairy once again. āI was in Faron Woods that should be south of here.ā He wasnāt sure how exiting the Temple of Time got him so far north but it wouldnāt have been the strangest of things. He had dealt with portals in the past granted it was by the power of twilight but still a portal. At least thatās as best of explanation he could figure out. āI was in a temple located there Iām not sure how or why it sent me so far north if itās even north.ā He wasnāt entirely sure heād have to rely more on the boyās knowledge at the moment. Perhaps he would know at least something of the woods he mention.Ā
linkās face colored, just slightly, at the tone of the other boyās voice and the look on his face. ā i had to make sure, okay.Ā āĀ Ā he grumbled, resisting the urge to kick a nonexistent stray rock in embarrassment. just because the guy looked hylian didnāt mean he actually was! he couldnāt take any chances...Ā Ā
ā is there a different castle town?Ā ā Ā he asked, looking between the older boy and navi. but she hovered beside him quietly and just as confused as he was. link frowned, a lopsided pouty thing, and wondered for a moment longer before remembering that he actually had the means of figuring it out.Ā ā oh!Ā āĀ rummaging through one of the pockets in his tunic, link eventually pulled out a very wrinkled, very folded and worn scroll of parchment. he unrolled it, having to scrunch the sides a little since the map was bigger than his arms could outstretch, but thankfully all of the mapās locations were still visible. he flipped it around then, still keeping his distance but so that the other boy could take a look at the map too.Ā Ā ā look!Ā āĀ Ā he points a finger, small and chubby and childlike, at the map, nearly poking it through the rough paper and getting an indignant noise out of navi warning him to be more careful.Ā ā hereās hyrule castle, and Castle Town with the market ... and then Kakariko Village and Death Mountain and Zoraās Domain, and Kokiri Forest.Ā but there isnāt any place called Faron Woods.Ā āĀ so either this guy was really far from home ... or he was lying. none of the sages, not even Zelda or Rauru or the Great Deku Tree, had ever mentioned a place called Faron Woods. heād never heard any people ever mention it, either!
his voice and his gaze turned slightly suspicious - if not slightly curious - then.Ā ā why were you in a temple, anyway? ā Ā
Koloktos is the best boss in Skyward Sword in my opinion. The fact that you can use their own weapon against this mechanical being is beyond amusing and a great twist on the battle against this automation. And donāt deny itā¦we all tried to leave the dungeon with the sword we defeated Koloktos with.
