"Well.. it depends." Her voice came out lower than usual, as an attempt of hiding her identity. She slowly lowered the white mask that was covering the lower part of her face, but didn’t lift up her gaze to see who was the one who asked her. She glanced quickly at the line and let out a soft sigh, shrugging her shoulders. “If I’m correct, today they give you a free iced coffee if you buy two so.. it’s probably that but, it’s okay. Be patient.” She said to then nod her head, quickly looking at the stranger as she fixed the mask on her face carefully.
as a self-proclaimed master at all things vocal, simba could tell that the voice which spilled from the woman’s voice wasn’t quite hers. still, he was more focused on the progression of the line than any mysterious strangers he happened to fall into conversation with. "huh— a free one?" he wasn’t the biggest fan of coffee, but as long as he could get the drinks back to his apartment quick enough, simba thought that they could be of use at some point. "patience isn’t my strong point," he admitted with a little, frustrated exhale. his patience wore thin easily in any situation, but while waiting in line, especially so. "just while we’re here… um, my name is simba."
