AU! One Step at a Time

She allowed the beat of the music to move her, feeling the bass shake through her entire body and flowing like water in a river, smooth and fluid. The jerks to her body purposeful, the blonde's movements began a story, a dance which carried her from one end of the room to the other -- making full use of the space; her stage.

While the female was not dressed for the stage, her presence was impressive enough, capturing eyes and attention of those who passed the room, those who paused either due to the loud pumping music or the lively show that she put up.

Each step was spontaneous; for it was no choreographed dance but one she leapt into without a thought as the music begun on the stereo.

A baggy hoodie, a simple plain pair of shorts, bare feet. 

Clothes that most girls did not venture out into, clothes they find embarrassing, 'ugly.

Eyes squeezed shut, the woman did not realize the eyes upon her, nor that she had generated a crowd from her unplanned dance. Engrossed in the music and its rhythm, the lady only came to a halt as the song ended with a bang, finishing off with a difficult pose even for the experienced dancers.

But just as abruptly as she had started dancing, the woman straightens up and moves off, ignoring the applause of the people who watched, 

She had made too much trouble for the day, and lowered the hood over her face as she disappeared through the corridors, slim legs taking her faster than one would expect.
