Classes represent your role in the story
Now I'm a filthy homestuck and I was thinking a little bit about the classes and I realized that you can think about your class as your role in the story.
Enjoy.
Witch-the Rebel:
Somethings wrong with the world. Maybe there's a evil power controlling it. Maybe it's been corrupted by lies. Maybe it's inactive or useless in solving problems. Regardless, it is your job to rebel against the tyranny of the world and change it for the better.

Heir- the Chosen One:
For whatever reason, fate has determined that you are to be the one to fulfill the prophecy and defeat the villain and save the day. This upsets you because you have about 0 clue what is going on. All you know is that you have powers that you don't understand and seem to escape by miraculous circumstances. It is your job to understand your own power become worthy of your destiny.
(Ex: Harry Potter)
Mage- the Mentor:

(Ex: Yoda)
Seer- The Guide:
All your life you've felt called like something has been telling you that you have a destiny. You've learned all you can believing it to be necessary. Now it's time for you to lead your companions along the right path. But beware hubris and make sure that you act of your own will not that of an outside force.
(Ex: Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson)
Maid- the Prince(ess):
You have a lot of responsibilities and expectations on your shoulders. People expect you to be a certain thing and achieve greatness. You want to live up to these expectations, be the hero people think you are and help those in need. Many people are trying to influence and control you but you must become independent if you are to become who you are destined to be.
(Ex: Princess Allura from Voltron)

You care deeply about your companions amd want to see them achieve their full potential. The group won't survive without you but you must also now when it's time to let people go.
(Ex: Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls)
Prince- The Redeemed:
I'm not gonna lie, you've probably made some bad choices. Maybe you were afraid. Maybe you had a serious misconception about your own destiny. Maybe some other force coerced you. Somehow you ended up on the wrong side or you made some mistakes that cost you and other people dearly. It is your responsibility to rise above your errors and redeem yourself. Become the hero you were meant to be.
(Ex: Zuko from ATLA)
Bard- the Wild Card:
you.... no one knows what you're going to be. Are you going to be the unexpected savior that prevents certain doom? Or are you the unseen threat that nearly destroys everything? Unlike the others, your fate is entirely up in the air.
(Ex: Gollum/Smegol from LOTR)
Knight- the Warrior:
you are the knight in shining armor, the lone soldier against an army, the shield in front of an oncoming blast. As a knight you are charged with protecting your friends and fighting evil. You are the person of action who can't sit still when the fight is going on. You try to be strong but you must remember to be vulnerable every once in a while. Only then can you truly be the one to vanquish evil.
(Ex: Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail)
Page-the Underdog: At the beginning of the story you are the stereotypical wimp: weak, underconfident, easily pushed around. People try to protect and help you which only makes you feel useless. You may try to overcompensate and end up hurting those closest to you. You must learn to let others help you and you must find the hidden strength that you have deep inside. Only then can you reach your true potential and become a force to be reckoned with.
(Ex: Jaune Arc from RWBY)
Thief- The Lone Wolf:
You've got this whole detached loner thing done. You're just looking out for number 1. Everyone else be damned right? You don't care about ANYONE. Just kidding you secretly have a heart of gold and the whole "i look out for myself and no one else" thing is an act. Get yourself together and help the people you care about. Save the world and bask in the glory.
(Ex: Han Solo from Star Wars)
Rogue-the Companion:
You know, you never wanted to get mixed up in any of this. You were perfectly content living a normal life with your friends and family. (Ex: Samwise Gamgee from LOTR)
Lord- the Monarch:
You hold a lot of power in this story. Maybe your a king, a wizard or a god. You think your vision for the world is best and people should do as you say. However you need to learn that what you want might not be the best thing for the world. Now you have to decide if you will be a great leader who will guide the world forward or a cruel tyrant who will hold it back.
(Ex: Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls)
Muse- the person behind the curtain: People underestimate you. They don't respect your opinion and often try to keep you down. Little do they no the power you hold. You are secretly changing events from the background. You must work against fate and the forces that have kept you down and be a force for good.
(Ex: Oz from The Wizard of Oz)
