BUT UH... I think out of all the (male) spouses, A/lex would be one of the most likely to solve this little problem by... removing the hypotenuse from the equation. S/eb is the other one imo, but whereas he'd be simmering while going to lengths to hide his actions, A/lex would be much less subtle about what he's done. Like say, still nursing quite the roid gut, satisfied as can be, and when the Farmer vocally ponders about not seeing so-and-so in town for the past day or so, their jock husband suddenly pounds his chest and belches up something familiar belonging to this missing citizen. Not at all looking apologetic about gurgling the object of his jealousy into something more useful - fuel for a bod to ensure the Farmer has only eyes for him~
