What: Music Festival Where: Norhaven Beach When: May 21-27, 12PM-12AM Price: 1-day pass $20  3-day pass $40 7-day pass $100 (Wristbands will be issued for re-admittance)

Rain or shine the music festival will happen! There is a stage for the artists to preform on and vendors will be selling common festival food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages will be served to those of legal drinking age. There will be a seperate place on the beach where people can set up tents if they want to camp out for some or all of the festival.  Outside of the festival hours you will need to provide your own food and drink, if you camp.

Remember the legal drinking age in Hope Springs is 21.

Mayor Lefevre invites you all to participate in Hope Springs Charity Auction! All proceeds of the auction will go to The Abused submissives Fund.

General

Participation in the charity auction is completely optional.

The entire auction will be conducted on Hope Springs’ Tumblr from the event blog run by the Mayor and City Manager. All event related things will be tagged as hsauction17

The schedule for the auction is as follows (All times listed are CST):

Monday January 30th at 10 AM  until Friday, February 3rd at noon  – Applications to be put up for auction may be sent in. Friday, February 3rd at 1PM  until Sunday, February 5th at 4PM – bids may be sent in. Sunday, February 5th at 8PM until Sunday, February 12th at 8PM – Charity auction claim week

Application

Any role may put themselves up to be bid on. There are twelve slots available, and will be given in the order that applications are received  If you are interested in being up for auction, submit the following form to the event blog as a photo submit:

Videos

As it is all taking place virtually, instead of going on stage and talking about yourself, once an application is accepted, applicants may submit to the Hope Springs Event Blog a video recorded by their phone, tablet, computer, etc on why people should bid on them. It may last no longer than three minutes. Nothing is off limits, get creative and have fun! Bidding

Anyone interested in placing bids should receive a username to their Hope Springs account by 1PM tomorrow (Friday) If you do not, please contact the event blog and the city manager or mayor will get you sorted. Once you have your username, you can log in to any bidding account and create a password to protect your identity and ensure that no one places bids in your name. The bidding accounts that those up for auction will have to have bids placed on will be posted tomorrow by 1PM.  

All winning bids must be able to be paid electronically by the end of business day on Monday

You may not bid  on someone of the same role as you, the exception being Switches. If a Switch wins another Switch, it is between them to decide who is Dominant and who is submissive.

Dominants may win up to two people, Switches and submissives may win one person.

Once a person has been announced as the winning bidder of another person, they may head to Hope Springs Florists where twelve bouquets of roses will be on hold for each to pick one and give to the person they won.

Claim Week

The claim week will begin Sunday, February 5th at 8PM and end Sunday, February 12th at 8PM.

What the dynamic will be, what rules, expectations, etc each claim will have- outside of the town rules- are to be decided upon consensually between Dominant and submissive.

All limits and safeword/gestures must be respected at all times. Legal action may be taken if it is found that they were not. Contact Mayor Lefevre or Police Chief Monroe with any concerns. 

OOC Information

All of the event related posts will be considered on the Hope Springs Tumblr dash and therefore public for anyone to see.

The ‘videos’ can be a combination of text, gifs, pictures, etc. Just have fun with it!

Please send in all asks, submits, bids, etc to the Event Blog not the main blog.

Given the size of our roleplay please only put one character up to be bid on so that we have enough characters to bid.

On Thursday (2/2) if not all slots are filled, applications may be sent in for second characters to be up for bid.

Please keep in mind what your character could actually afford to bid.

Obviously, there will not actually be passwords. If you do not get a alias sent to your character that wants to bid, please message here, not Gabriel’s account. 

Each person up for auction will have their own chatzy for bids.

Kyra purchased some swag before heading home. Then she noticed a lot of phone notifications. She started trending! Perhaps not in a good way but all publicity is publicity, right?

Hope Springs’ annual Farmer’s Market will be on the town square every Saturday from May 6th until November 4th. The Market will run from 8AM-2PM.

If you would like to have a booth for selling things, stop in the town hall to sign up for one.

The following things can be sold at the farmer's market: fruits and vegetables, herbs, teas, honey, pesto, meats, bread and bakery, homemade items, etc.

Local businesses may also have a booth, if they want. 

What may not be sold: alcoholic substances.

The Holiday party is very festive. Other than what you see in the pictures there would be mistletoe scattered around, a space for littles and others interested to meet and get there pictures taken with Santa, Food is mostly hot and cold snacks and appetizers, though there are plenty of them and lots of variety to choose from. Beverages range from mixed drinks, to spiced cider, eggnog and hot chocolate. Anything alcoholic would have I.D.s checked before being served. As this is a party for those 18 and older, sexual things are allowed publicly as long as all parties involved are consenting. There is a dance floor and a DJ who will take song requests. Anything from formal wear to a sexy Santa or naughty elf or kink wear is allowed. The party officially starts at 7PM, but things may be posted all day as we understand people are in different timezones. Any questions feel free to contact the main.

           ATTENTION : // CITIZENS OF HELLSCAPE

Thank you for taking participation of our annual drill. The stimulation you found during this drill were merely disposable. A task force has been assigned to escort you back to your rooms for the evening. Curfew is now set at an early time -- 10 PM. We plan to schedule more of these throughout the year to secure our borders. Remember, we aren’t always safe from the world outside.

OOC NOTES: The COUNCIL is covering up the lock-down as a drill. They accidentally allowed some of their test subjects to break through the laboratories located in the South Wing. Those who had to interact with the Infected were spoken to individually and given ration cards as digression. Should your character follow this is completely up to you. But remember, those who betray the COUNCIL don’t usually make it out alive.

It’s been twelve hours since the lockdown.

In the FOOD HALL, Adam Walker is still missing. Electricity flickers on. The cracked skull of the Infected remains on the floor. Notify the others of your safety. RAIN and DAPHNE have left post. Does your group notice them attempting to leave?

In the COUNCIL CHAMBERS, it has been silent on your end. You hear static from the CLINIC radio. The occasional update leaks through. ESTELLE holds onto the microphone of the radio, waiting to hear the news if the breach was secure.

In the CLINIC, the generator has been repaired. The Infected was taken care of. SAM managed to toss the radio to CAROLINE. The Clinic now has access to everyone else in the city. Report your safety.

In the GREENHOUSE, all contact has been lost. No moves have been made. 

It has been reported that GUARDS have secured all borders. Information has only been leaked to the COUNCIL. The BREACH is SECURE.
