ALINA SOLETSKAYA IN VERSACE

we were elated to see princess alina soletskaya of ukraine strut her stuff on her way into the chritmas ball in new york city, especially after the disasterous last few months the woman has had. we at out magazine were glad to speak with her about her experience battling homophobia back in her home country and how she’ll be standing up to those who want to see her downfall. 

“i don’t see myself as some kind of hero,” alina explained, “i just want to live my life. and i want my people to be allowed to live theirs however they like.” she insisted, too, that she was doing much better after an earlier assault in ukraine’s capital of kyiv, and reinforced the idea that she’ll not be returning until she’s sure of her safety. 

and in her beautiful versace gown, she’s pretty enough to be the star atop any of our trees! we’re happy to see her look amazing and prove that, even in the face of adversity, we always find a way to be fabulous.

ROWEN MONCADA IN BRIONI

prince rowen moncada arrives late to the christmas ball hosted by the americans. it’s almost becoming routine for prince rowen to shirk his responsibility, especially to us here at the maltese times. after the reports this week that he chose to not only slip away from his guards, but to do it to spend some “quality time” with his girlfriend and future wife is unacceptable. 

the maltese people are paying for him to serve our country, and instead of the prince we were promised we’re given a joker who called himself a “sewer rat” at a royal wedding. when we consider the year end’s event, we can only wonder: what stunt will the royal manchild pull in moscow on new year’s?

NATASJA MAGNUSDOTTIR IN MILA SNORASSON

princess natasja magnusdottir arrives with her date to the christmas ball, her future wife vita asturias! luckily, we at gossip iceland have an american partner in ‘oh no they didn’t!’, who photographed and interviewed our favorite princess, since we’re snowed into reykjavik! 

princess natasja served us the look we’ve been craving since her best friend’s wedding: with a bit of icelandic flair: she’s wearing a designer from reykjavik! when they got a hold of her for a few seconds, the princess was proud to be wearing her fellow icelander’s dress, saying, “i’m happy to not only wear the typical high fashion labels, but also smaller ones from my home. i absolutely adore mila, too!” 

when asked about when the happy couple will tie the knot, natasja simply laughed and offered up a wink to our press. we can only hope that means we’re setting a date! a royal wedding is desperately needed for a little pick me up in the cold, harsh winter.
