The warmth and brightness of summer are like synonyms for fun. Some take a summer trip, others throw all kinds of pool parties, the Italian royal family had their carnival: a tradition that has been in the family for generations but has been ignored since the passing of the late king is being brought back in his honour.

☾ ° › CITY OF A MILLION WARM EMBRACES

The carnival this year has a twist: the Italian royal family is finally letting outsiders in ! Royals from all around the world have been cordially invited to spend a week in Rome, attending their traditional carnival and, not only attending, but also participating in the daily activities they have planned. The culmination of the festivities being the famous Savoy Masquerade Ball.

Event: Summer Carnival in Rome Date: 26th of July to 2nd of August, 2020 Location: Rome, Italy

This event will commence on the 23rd of July and ends on the 9th of August. ( no extensions for this one, it’s already two weeks long )

HRH 𝐆𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐢 𝐎𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐝𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐚 crown prince of Italia arriving at his family’s annual masquerade, this year held in 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞. Prior to arriving at the event, he was spotted for an impromptu photo op outside the colosseum during golden hour.

Instead of matching with her mother, princess Margaux came as a matching set with her father! The nine-year-old’s style could be considered very mature if it weren’t for her little penguin purse, which apparently is very much her favourite part of the outfit.
