It's September 2029, not every fire has been put out, but it is clear that the world has reached a new era of peace. To celebrate this hard-earned peace the leaders of the worlds have traveled all the way to Berlin. While the whole world has changed, certain things have remained exactly the same: it's the same compositions for waltzing, it's the same old pattern a gala follows, it's the same air of opulence that surrounds the glimmering dresses and jewels. History never stops repeating itself, and how long it takes before the smiles fall off the faces of leaders, is only a matter of time.
☾ ° › GRUDGES ARE FOR THOSE WHO INSIST THEY ARE OWED SOMETHING; FORGIVENESS, HOWEVER, IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE SUBSTANCIAL ENOUGH TO MOVE ON.
This celebration is for those who did not give up. This celebration is for those who had the strength to see something good waiting in the future. This celebration is for those who never failed to believe in the good of humanity. This celebration is for those who were willing to bury the hatchet. Peace is not accomplished by chance, it will not simply come into existence — and it most certainly will not survive the test of time if no one is willing to tend to it.
