60 companies attended HSIIDC's 3-day webinar - Times of India
CHANDIGARH: As many as 60 companies from across the world have expressed keenness to invest in Haryana during the 3 day webinar concluded here on Friday.
In a rare initiative of its kind to convert the challenges arising out of COVID 19 Pandemic into an opportunity, Haryana government has reached out to the companies abroad having set ups in China. Haryana is offering the space as an alternate for the companies during the webinar.
ACS Industries Apoorva Kumar Singh chaired and HSIIDC managing director Anurag Aggarwal co chaired the webinar’s concluding proceedings which was attended representatives of various companies .
“Haryana has emerged as the major industrial hub. This was the first initiative of its kind and the existing companies from Korea, Japan and US have acted as our brand ambassadors. We are hopeful of good results of this webinar,” Aggarwal told media after the Webinar.
According to information, most of the companies had sought vacant land as well as built up industrial sheds and buildings in the state. It is learned that the companies have also sought details of concessions as well as subsidy and other support extended by government of Haryana.
Singh as well as Aggarwal has informed to have provided the companies with relationship managers as well as relationship executives to take the talks further. Both the ACS as well MD HSIIDC will also act and monitor discussion.
Notably, HSIIDC Chairman and Principal Secretary to CM Haryana Rajesh Khullar heads the high power committee who finally decides upon the rebate, relaxations to the be given to companies involved in foreign direct investments in the state.
