Three weeks in to Masters and I’m still adjusting to the student life.I’m definitely not used to more than 2 hours of lecture in one class. The difficult part though I feel like is since most of the professors have English as their third language, they end up just translating what they’re saying which makes the discussion complicated and hard to digest. A lot of the students get confused also. I feel like in general if a topic is defined in a simple way then students will find it easier to learn and focus. My process now is in class to take down notes on my laptop and then rewrite it on my notebook as a form of review and refresher. It’s kind of tedious but hey it works for me. Also, in almost every subject there’s a group work that makes up for 50% of the final grade so most of the time we have to work in teams

In other news, Muji just opened their very first store in Switzerland so I bought some pens and the mini colored marker things. I also finally found some pastel highlighters. Kind of realized that in terms of stationery and writing materials, Switzerland’s options are kind of limited rather than in the Philippines where literally there’s like ten or more brands of pens or something like that.

Hey! 

During my Summer vacation I tried tp practice on my own a walk cycle. This is not finished yet, I still need to modify and improve some things - I don’t know which ones but I’ll find - but I just wanted to share the fact that I did something during my holidays!

So this year was my first time to Fantasy Basel that's the Swiss Comiccon. So I worked there for my school to show people what animation is, and that there is a school for it. 

I found it to be interesting to see that animation, even thou it is nowadays represented in about every movie, is still a mystery to most, even at a such Geeky/ Nerdy event.

For me it was the first time at such an event and it was a blast.
