Sure! Here we go! I give you: Camp Prom!
Main Masterlist
Ashlyn claps her hands. “Okay, I am very hyped for this dance tonight, but someone needs to explain to me why we’re doing a vintage theme for the camp prom.”
“Ooh, I think it has something to do with Susan Fine’s birthday,” Gina says.
“Or the day she died,” (Y/n) replies, fixing her dress shirt in the mirror.
“Definitely one of those two,” Ashlyn replies.
“Honestly, I’ve never known,” Maddox says, walking past in her pink and orange jumpsuit.
(Y/n) glances at the girl for a moment through the mirror but adverts her gaze as soon as Maddox turns around.
“Look, any camp tradition that doesn't involve climbing a wall is good by me,” Kourtney says, touching up Gina’s makeup.
Ashlyn chuckles.
“And I’m gonna miss having all this time with you guys,” Gina says, groaning slightly. “Okay, sisterhood vibes all night, okay?”
“It’s gonna be a night of many vibes,” Ashlyn agrees. She steps over to examine her curls in the mirror. “Hey, G, are you good going solo to the dance tonight?” she asks her former roommate.
“I’m not going solo. I have my girls. Honestly, it’s fine,” Gina says. “It’s a Shallow Lake tradition, so . . .”
“That’s right. It is,” Maddox says. “Everyone goes stag,” she sits down by where Kourtney, Gina, and Ashlyn are, while (Y/n) continues to try and flatten out her wrinkled dark blue dress shirt.
“Honestly, Ash, I think your cousin’s gonna spend the night without me as his date, realise he’s kind of been ignoring me for a week and a half, and I don’t know.” She and Ashlyn laugh. “He promised he’d save the last dance for me, so . . . I think the night’s going to end with a bang.”
(Y/n) and Maddox exchange a look. “In one way or another, it always does,” Maddox says as (Y/n) steps into the bathroom.
“Excuse me,” Jett opens the door to the Honeycomb bunk, knocking on the inside wall.
“Oh, my . . .” Gina exclaims and the other girls make similar exclamations.
“Uh, Maddie, can we talk? Alone?” Jett asks.
A minute later, Ashlyn, Gina, Kourtney, and (Y/n) are waiting outside, Ashlyn’s ear pressed to the wall of the building.
“Okay, should we be spying on them?” Kourtney asks.
“No, we should not,” (Y/n) replies.
“Could you be quiet, I’m trying to spy,” Ashlyn hisses.
“Hi,” a familiar voice makes (Y/n)’s heart drop into her stomach. “Is Gadget still in there?”
“Hey Madison,” (Y/n) murmurs. “Hey, I told Ricky I’d drop by. I’ll see you guys later.” (Y/n) turns and heads towards the Yurt Locker.
. . .
(Y/n) wears a soft blue suit, the color Maddox once said made her look like a moonbeam. But she doesn’t let herself think about that now. Not when Maddox is somewhere out there probably dancing with Madison.
She leans against the drink table, pretending to scroll on her phone. Trying not to care.
“Hey.”
The voice is gentle, familiar — the one she’s been dodging all day. She turns, and Maddox is right there, in a button-up and rolled sleeves, cheeks slightly flushed.
(Y/n) tries to smile. “Hey.”
Maddox doesn’t return it. Instead, she tilts her head. “You’ve been avoiding me.” It isn’t a question.
(Y/n) shrugs. “Just busy.”
“That’s a lie,” Maddox says, stepping closer. Her voice softens. “Did I do something?”
The music blurs around them. (Y/n) looks down at her polished dress shoes. “No. Not really. I just . . . I saw Madison.”
Maddox blinks. “Okay . . .”
“And I thought maybe…” (Y/n) exhales sharply. “Maybe I was reading things wrong between us. That you still liked her. So I didn’t want to be . . . in the way.”
Maddox stares for a beat, like she’s processing the whole week in real time. Then she lets out a soft laugh — almost in disbelief — and reaches for (Y/n)’s hand.
Maddox says, “Madison. Jett surprised me. I haven’t seen her since last summer break. He was trying to help.”
(Y/n)’s eyes widen.
“Yeah,” Maddox says, stepping even closer. “And for the record . . . you weren’t reading it wrong.”
(Y/n) can’t breathe.
“I was hoping you’d ask me to prom,” Maddox admits, voice quieter now. “But then you disappeared, and I thought maybe I scared you off.”
A shaky smile spreads across (Y/n)’s lips. “You didn’t. I just got jealous and . . . stupid.”
“Not stupid,” Maddox says, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “Maybe a little dramatic.”
They laugh, and the tension finally melts.
Maddox reaches out a hand. “So . . . will you dance with me now?”
“Yes,” (Y/n) breathes, taking Maddox’s hand.
The moment (Y/n) places her hand in Maddox’s, it feels like the world finally clicks back into place. Maddox's fingers are warm and steady, grounding her in a way that nothing else has all day.
They walk hand in hand toward the makeshift dance floor under the string lights. The music slows to a mellow, synthy cover of a love song (Carlos swears it’s from Bridgerton). Campers sway in pairs.
Maddox places her hands gently on (Y/n)’s waist, and (Y/n) loops her arms around Maddox’s shoulders. They move in slow, nervous steps, barely more than swaying. But it's perfect.
(Y/n)’s cheeks flush. “You look like you just walked out of an indie rom-com.”
Maddox chuckles. “You saying I’m the quirky lead?”
“You’re definitely the love interest.”
That earns her a soft, stunned smile. They keep swaying.
“I really was gonna ask you,” (Y/n) says. “Had a whole speech in my head. Something about sparkly lights and friendship turning into something more . . .”
Maddox tilts her head. “Can I still hear it?”
(Y/n) bites her lip, eyes twinkling. “Only if you promise not to laugh.”
“Promise.”
She leans in just a little closer. “Maddox . . . you make me feel like campfire smoke and acoustic guitar songs — like I’m finally part of something warm. And I wanted to ask you to prom because I think I’m falling for you.”
Maddox stops swaying.
And then — with no warning but every intention — she leans in and kisses her.
It's soft. It's sure. And it sends sparks from (Y/n)’s lips to the soles of her feet. Maddox tastes like mint lemonade and hope. The music swells around them, but nothing compares to the silence between heartbeats when their lips meet.
When they part, Maddox whispers, “You’re not the only one falling.”
(Y/n) rests her forehead against Maddox’s, breath shaky. “Good.”
. . .
The prom crowd slowly disperses, the music giving way to the quiet hum of late summer insects. The stars shine bright above Camp Shallow Lake, and a light breeze rustles through the trees. Most of the campers head back to their bunks, giggling and glitter-covered.
But Maddox and (Y/n) linger near the edge of the lake.
They sit side by side on the old wooden dock, sneakers kicked off, legs dangling above the cool water. (Y/n) leans into Maddox’s side, and Maddox slips her arm around her waist like she’s done it a thousand times — like it’s second nature now.
“Do you think anyone saw?” (Y/n) asks, voice teasing.
“Oh, Carlos definitely saw,” Maddox replies. “He winked at me mid-kiss.”
(Y/n) groans, burying her face in Maddox’s shoulder.
Maddox laughs and presses a kiss to her temple. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” (Y/n) says softly. “I’m really okay.”
They sit in silence for a moment, just listening to the lapping water.
“I wish we had more time,” (Y/n) says, almost a whisper.
Maddox nods. “We still have tomorrow. And texts. And FaceTime. And next summer.”
“If you want to,” Maddox says, turning to meet her eyes.
(Y/n) doesn’t hesitate. “I do.”
. . .
East High has never felt so crowded.
Between the chaos of filming High School Musical 4 and the school's own musical rehearsals, it’s hard to tell where the real life ends and the movie set begins. There are camera rigs in the gym, signs on every hallway door, and actors in full costume brushing past students trying to get to class.
(Y/n) weaves through it all, clutching her rehearsal binder and wondering how anyone is supposed to concentrate when her girlfriend is still states away.
It's been months since camp.
They text constantly. Facetime when they can. But it’s not the same. (Y/n) misses Maddox's voice in person — the way she’d lean against a tree with her arms crossed and that smirk that meant trouble. She misses Maddox’s quiet calm in chaotic moments and the way she always, always saved her a seat at bonfire night.
Now, all she has is a lock screen photo and an old camp bracelet she still wears on her wrist.
(Y/n) zones back into the table read for the musical.
“Chad enters,” Miss Jenn reads.
(Y/n) catches her brother’s expression — he looks nervously excited. He waits, and then shouts, “Now, dude!”
Jett and Maddox enter the rehearsal room and (Y/n)’s jaw drops to the floor. She — almost robotically — gets up from her chair, still staring at Maddox.
After the fanfare, Maddox moves to stand in front of (Y/n).
“You’re here,” (Y/n) breathes.
“I am,” Maddox replies, reaching forward and brushing a hand against (Y/n)’s and interlocking their pinkies.
“You didn’t text me?” (Y/n) asks.
“I wanted you to be surprised,” Maddox replies. “Are you surprised?”

Pairing: Ricky Bowen x Werewolf!Male!Reader
Requested: Yes
Request: “supernatural/legends requests for HSMTMTS? Well...how about this one? Ricky Bowen realizes his boyfriend starts to act weird on certain nights and disappears. That's when he discovers his boyfriend is a werewolf.”
A/N: So I meant to have this out for Halloween, but life got wild so here's this now instead.
-----
Things were good. No, really- sure, Ricky Bowen’s parents were splitting up and his breakup with Nini had made their friendship messy for the last couple of months and the drama club still couldn’t figure out how they were going to make his Beast transformation work, but he was making it work.
He was trying to understand his mom’s perspective and he and Nini were trying to mend their friendship and he and the rest of the club were trying new ideas each week and he had (M/N). Their relationship was admittedly new, but Ricky had been crushing on (M/N) for what felt like forever and he’d been the only one who had really been able to soothe his nerves after everything with Nini. They’d been spending more time together since then and had fallen together almost without thought in the time since and had been dating for the last couple of months. Even now the two of them were cuddled up in Ricky’s bed with a rerun of one of Ricky’s favorite shows on the TV while Ricky’s fingers carded through his boyfriend’s hair.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a familiar chime emanating from his boyfriend’s phone and he turns to watch as the (h/c) pulls away from where he’d been curled against Ricky with an arm sprawled over his stomach to grab his phone. His expression darkens as he taps at the screen, dismissing whatever notification he’d gotten before pushing himself up from Ricky’s bed.
“I have to go,” (M/N) says as he stands, throwing his things into his backpack, seemingly without thought, apart from a need to leave quickly.
A surprised “Oh,” escapes Ricky as he watches his boyfriend. This wasn’t the first time he’d taken off suddenly after seeing a notification on his phone, a sort of wild energy about him as he leaves with only a half-assed excuse. Hell, his sudden exits were probably nearing double digits. After this many times, it’s hard not to wonder if he was leaving to see someone else. “Is everything okay?”
(M/N) was throwing on his jacket when he registered Ricky’s question, “Huh? Yeah, it’s- I forgot what day it is and I really have to go.”
“Right, uh, okay, I guess,” Ricky grumbles, crossing his arms over his chest. He knows (M/N) cares about him, but now that the thought had crossed his mind he couldn’t dismiss it. He bites his tongue as (M/N) heads for the door, but couldn’t keep the words from escaping him, “Are you cheating on me?”
His boyfriend nearly skids to a stop at the door, whirling about to face Ricky with an incredulous look on his face. “Chea-” he cuts himself off and moves back toward Ricky until he can kneel in front of him, taking Ricky’s hands in his, “Sweetheart, no. I’d never do that. I love you.”
Ricky found himself struggling to speak, overwhelmed by the look in his boyfriend’s eyes. “Then what’s going on? Why are you always running away?” he eventually forced out.
(M/N) freezes for a second and it seems like all the air escapes him as he slumps forward to rest his forehead on Ricky’s knee, “shit,” he hisses. He stays like that for a long moment before he finally brings himself to look up at the brunet, “I’ve been wanting to tell you for ages but could never figure out how to tell you.” A sharp shudder wracks through him and Ricky’s grip on his hands tightens reflexively. (M/N) is quick to shake off the concern, “Ricky, do you know what today is?”
Ricky’s brows furrow as he thinks, “Uh, Thursday?”
“It’s a full moon, sweetheart.” (M/N) winces again as a jolt of pain shoots through him. He can practically feel his bones shifting below his skin already. His jaw flexes as his canines begin to elongate, “My family has a little, uh, mutation in our bloodline. We get a little weird on full moons,” he smiles, albeit a little sarcastically, to bare his newly formed fangs.
Ricky’s eyes widen as he notices the new change, “Weird, huh?” He blinks, the information just hitting him, “Wait, what the hell?!”
A barked laugh escapes (M/N) and the tips of his claws catch lightly against Ricky’s hands as he pulls them away, “My family and I- we’re werewolves. I usually leave on full moons since the shift isn’t,” he shrugs off another sharp sting of pain, “uh, isn’t pretty.” He pushes himself back slightly, hands on Ricky’s knees as his eyes flickered over Ricky’s face, searching for some hint of what he was thinking, “Ricky, if you want me to go, I will. I get that this is a lot and if you don’t want to see me ever again, I’ll understand.”
Ricky blinks, still a little stunned by the sudden turn of events, “No, I don’t want that-” he says firmly. “This is, uh, a lot to take in, but I love you, so I’m gonna have to get used to,” he gestures vaguely, “All this. Stay?”
“Of course,” (M/N) says, pushing himself further back from Ricky to give himself more room as his transformation progressed. “Shut your eyes for a minute for me, okay? I don’t want to scare you.”
Ricky swallows sharply, visibly nervous about the request, but eventually complies, doing his best to ignore the sharp crackling sound of bones shifting and his boyfriend’s labored breathing. The sounds stop after a long moment and Ricky can hear something big moving around before a heavy weight rests upon his lap. His eyes open and he comes face to face with a massive wolf.
In any other circumstance Ricky would’ve been nervous to be this close to a predator this large, but now that he knew the truth he couldn’t bring himself to be scared, or even a little nervous. He reaches out and cups the canine’s head in his hands, leaning in to plant a gentle kiss on the top of the wolf’s nose. The same (e/c) eyes he’d come to love stare up at him and the wolf’s mouth drops open in a big doggy grin.
“We’re gonna talk about this more in the morning,” Ricky says as he lies down, giving his boyfriend room to awkwardly clamber up and lie down next to him, resting his head on Ricky’s chest with an assenting huff.
This was far from what Ricky had been expecting when he started the conversation, but as he curled closer to his boyfriend’s wolf form, he couldn’t be happier. He knew that they would get through this the same way they got through everything else; together.
Could you do the reader finding Ricky Bowen or Chase Davenport crying and then trying to comfort them by making them laugh or something like that??
putting both cause why not
♯. teenage blue — ricky bowen & chase davenport
warning: crying, stress :(
so sorry lisa but that picture has me laughing
you/yours pronouns used! (lowercase intended)
RICKY BOWEN
you had seen ricky cry once. he never let you see him cry again. it was a one time thing for him and he would do anything to hide his sadness from you.
but sometimes it was too much to hide.
you had already gotten ready for bed when you heard tapping against your window.
you could only smile knowing that it was ricky at there. he had been the only person to every come in through you window and you haven’t bothered to ask him why.
once you pushed the window open, you saw tears flowing down ricky’s face.
you helped him inside and without any words spoken, you wrapped your arms around him, pulling him in close.
it could’ve been a plethora of things that made ricky bowen feel this way, but he chose not to talk.
the two of you climbed in your bed, ricky’s head resting on your lap as you gently stroked his hair.
you didn’t want to push him to talk about it, but you wanted to know why he came to your window crying as hard as he was.
you soon heard heavy breathing from beneath you. looking down, ricky held his eyes shut, dried tear stains on his face.
you gently removed his head from your lap and stood up, walking into your bathroom and grabbing a rag, dampened it and headed back into your room.
you sat on your bed, gently moving ricky’s head up to face you. you took the rag, gently wiping away the tear stains that rested on his face.
you threw the rag on your dresser and laid down on the bed. you threw your blanket of you and ricky. you grabbed ahold of his hand, it laid limp in yours.
you took deep breath and closed your eyes, feeling a small grip within you hand.
CHASE DAVENPORT
it was no secret that chase davenport was a superhero along with his siblings. they fought crime and knew that they protected the world essentially with their brave acts… but it was a lot.
you walked into the lab, a smile on your face as you saw chase sitting in a chair, his back facing you.
“you won’t believe what i just found out! did you— well you probably did, but—“
you cut yourself off as you saw chase stand quickly, his eyes red.
“hey, i didn’t know you were coming.” he chuckled, rubbing his hands together.
“i wanted to show you something.” you smiled, “are you okay?”
he grabbed ahold of your arm, pulling towards the exits. you stopped in your tracks.
“chase?”
he took a deep breath a faced you, his lips bawled and tears threatening to leave his eyes.
“it’s just a lot.” he cried, “i know it’s my job to protect people… but it’s a lot.”
you sighed and pulled him in for a hug, his head resting on top of yours as tears spilled from his eyes.
you couldn’t and wouldn’t understand what he, bree, adam, and sometimes leo went through on a day to day basis. it was always school, save people, sleep, repeat. over and over again. you couldn’t imagine how tired they could be.
you rubbed your hand up and down his back, “your job is to protect yourself, chase.”
he didn’t say anything. you gently backed away from the hug, cupping your hands to his cheeks and wiping away the tears.
“you’re hardworking and smart and brave and i couldn’t see how the world would work without you.” you smiled, “but you deserve a break.”
“i can’t—“
“you can. you are and will forever be the best thing to ever grace my presence and i really really hate seeing you sad.”
chase took a deep breath, wiping his tears with his thumb.
“you are doing an amazing job and i will never understand what stress and troubles you go through, but i’m always here for you, okay?”
he nodded. you softly smiled, bending his head down and placing a kiss on his forehead, while doing so, chase held you hand that was cupping his cheek in his.
he would be forever grateful for this and for you.

Summery: You have a secret that only Gina, Ashlynn, Nini, Carlos literally everyone in the theatre club knows. Even miss Jen. The only person that doesn't know is your boyfriend E.J. Your secret is that you work with the Flash and when your watch beeps three or more times it's an emergency. Here's where this gets interesting E.J being E.J asked everyone 'Why does she keep running of." Or even "Is she cheating on me?" So yeah your friends and E.J get kidnapped by one your's and Barry's enemies.
You and Gina were at your locker talking about what happend on your last mission when your boyfriend E.J Caswell came.
"Hey e.j." Gina said.
"Hey ranger rick." You said smiling.
"Hi." He said and kissed you, witch took you by surprise.
"Uhhh, best friend still here." Gina stated in annoyance.
"Right sorry, Gina. Oh Y/N I wanna tell you something?" E.J said to you.
"What about?" You asked your handsome boyfriend.
"Uhhh,"
The ball rung and you said,
"Tell me later. Gina and I have Science, we have Mr Fuller. If we're late he will give us detention."
"Bye." Gina said.
"See you later hotshot." You say while dragging Gina to scince.
"Okay, when are you gonna tell him."
"When the time is right."
"And when will the time be right. How long can you keep it up?"
"As long as I need to Gina."
"Really? This has gone on long enough."
"What has?"
"The secrets. The lies."
"If he knows, Marcus will use him agents me."
"Y/N."
"Look Mr Fuller is here so shut up."
In the middle of class your classmates decided to do a tick-tock joke.
"Mr Fuller? It's hot in here can you please turn the heater off." One of your idiotic classmates asked.
"No. You wanna know why. It's perfectly fine in here." Mr. Fuller said.
Everyone except you and Gina pretended to faint.
"Why aren't the two of you doing it." He asked.
"Mr Fuller. We can tell you're mad and we don't want to make you more angry." You say.
"Yeah. And when they said they were going to do it. Y/N and I thought how you would be feeling so, we decided not to do it." Gina continued.
"We tried really hard to get them to not do it but nothing we were doing was changing their minds." You finished.
"Thank you Y/N and Gina you can go out five minutes early." Mr. Fuller said greatly to you and Gina, and then continued, "As for the rest of you......afternoon detention."
"You have to tell E.J." Ashlynn said while the rest of your friends nodded in agreement.
"Have to tell me what?" E.J asked while coming to your lunch table.
"Uhhh, ummmm. E.J Uhh." All of a sudden your watch started beeping. Everyone looked at you with a look that said 'Go. We'll cover for you' you gave them a smile that said 'thanks' and left.
"Why did she run off?" E.J asked the group.
"She has something important to do." Carlos said hoping you would come back as soon as possible.
"Hello Y/N. Now I'm sure you're wondering why I have sent you a video message. Well, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. You and me go for ice cream. Or else something will happen to your best friends and your so called 'cute' boyfriend. Okay choi."
"Girl you good? You look pissed." Cisco asked you in worry.
"Call him. Call him now." You said in a mad voce.
"Okayyyy."
Cisco called Marcus and he said,
"I see you got my message."
"Yeah I did and you know what captain eyebrows....the answer is no." You say to him coldly.
"Well I guess we have to do this the hard way." He smirked.
