rina’s progression in s2 is a story i am dying to hear... gina, trying to repress her emotions and smile as she asks ricky, “how are things we nini?” an awkward, yet longing glance as he nods and says, “good.” accidental mentions of homecoming, something that ricky doesn’t like to mention because it forces him to reflect on his emotions for another girl when he’s supposed to feel this way about this one girl, a new boy comes along and ricky raising suspicions on him without a reason, gina, once again, being that source for ricky— pushing him to be the better person she knows he can be. the writers better not fuck up the POTENTIAL they have.
