Gina's confession on 308 was meant to parallel her confession on 206 as well as Ricky's responses to both times. Gina confessed her feelings for Ricky on opening night because she thought she’ll never see him again. That was her plane going down moment. Confess and disappear. Ricky allowed her to walk away. Now, Gina is saying her feelings again knowing she’ll see him again but she’s not worried about that. She’s not trying to hide it or run from it. Except this time, Ricky doesn’t let her walk away.
