Harry Styles: Live on Tour Cologne
I feel like making a post more than a week after is a bit stupid but I'll still do it. so... My overall experience is that Harry’s vocals and stage presence were bloody amazing. I didn’t like the venue and I arrived quite late in the queue so I couldn’t see Harry, like I had to be on the tip of my toes to see his face and upper body and obviously no screens. So that was a disappointment and I did something I’m really bad at is I told myself to just enjoy the show and not focus on the bad stuff. MUNA: I unfortunately couldn’t see them but I cried during one of their song and their sound is really interesting. I don’t have much to say about them.
esny: he’s so dramatic. The curtain thing is probably my fave thing ever even though I was getting really frustrated because I just wanted the concert to begin and they were singing 5 seconds and then stopping but at least it hyped the whole crowd. The song in itself was just really chill and I think it’s a good song for him to “feel” the crowd and the atmosphere in the room.
two ghosts: I didn’t cry which is weird but I think it’s just because I couldn’t see his face. Did I tell you I couldn’t see him :p
carolina: I hate that song but a miracle I didn’t cringe when it began which is a first. yeah that’s all I have. They really ruined it for everyone.
sweet creature: loved the setting, the colours and hearing the crowd singing “you bring me home” was one of the highlight of this concert.
only angel: I’m not into the lyrics of that song and I do think it’s just a more upbeat song to have fun on stage and you know what? it was fun.
woman: the way he sings it, with his whole body, face and voice screaming sarcasm and the kind of mocking tone he has when he sings the “la la la la la”, it’s just perfect, I loved woman live.
mmith: my fave song on the album, my fave song live, I nearly cried and it was magical.
jalboyh: tbh I don’t have a lot of memory of that song because someone was annoying me in the crowd but still heartbreaking 4 years later.
Stockholm syndrome: the crowd went wild. We always go harder for 1d than any solo work and tbh I love it (harry’s voice: come back soon boys *flamboyant wave*). it was just so much fun and his version is interesting and fits the aesthetic/sound of his album.
wmyb: another highlight of my night. same comment than for ss. you know it’s just the song that everyone hate but we are all attached to it I would let no one tell me it’s a bad song. SO MUCH FUN and I love H for doing it. it was probably one of the few moment where it felt like home.
kiwi: he went wild, we went wild everything was right in the world. ftdt: as much as I don’t like people screaming this time I loved it in a very selfish way. first shoutout to the person who screamed “you’re so precious” and then obviously someone screamed louis and after all the bullying we got these past 2 years I wasn’t feeling really well to be surrounded by people I didn’t know if they would hate me. So this girl said Louis and so many people screamed and I selfishly felt a lot better because it reminded me that people like antis are only thriving online but they are always hiding their ugly ass in real life.
the chain: I love this cover, I think it’s the song where the crowd truly relaxed and danced and had the most fun.
kiwi: big shoutout to the German crowd for this one. I think we all felt really proud of us and harry was being funny and lovely about it.
sott: all the rainbows <3 such an important moment because it’s his first single (it has the same significance in my heart as wmyb) and everyone knows it’s the end of the concert. Harry sings it perfectly and in a very healthy way (which thank god bc I still can’t watch his SNL performance bc it hurts me too just to think about the way he’s singing).
I’m really proud of him, his tour is well performed (no surprise there) but also well structured (I don’t know how to explain this), you’re like never bored and the word I’d use would be “fluidity” everything fell perfectly into place. I have to admit I liked his album but I was disappointed in a few songs but I’m happy I could see him live because I think I understood more the songs and his vision. Lastly I missed him! I strongly disliked his promo and I knew he didn’t change but I didn’t feel like I could connect with him anymore but now I feel a lot better and I just wish his team is gonna let him shine and be himself for the next promo tour because he deserves the best.
I can’t wait to see him again in March (with screens this time :p)
Cologne was fucking lit
I'll talked about it on Sunday bc my parents are visiting me in Germany tomorrow and Harry makes me fucking happy. Love you all. x Ps: we made him do Kiwi twice
HE IS DOING A KIWI A SECOND TIME!! WHAT A LEGEND
I'm seeing Harry today! I won't be on because I need to keep some battery, but you can find me on twitter if it's really necessary at @/buzzingingucci :) And yes it's only 5:31 here and I can't fucking sleep 😭🎉
