Teaching during a pandemic is hard. We start on Monday, Arizona is slowing down, but the second wave is coming.

I know my kids will learn, i know my kids will do well and ANY learning is better then NO learning. Its just hard. This is not how I wanted this all to go down.

Sooo... we didn’t send out announcements... but just wanted to say how proud we are ... Since graduating... Maddi started working for Teach for America (a week after graduation) in a seventh grade class in Oakland for the summer and was hired to teach 9th grade English at Independence High School in San Jose starting in a few weeks... she just signed her contract and got an apartment down in San Jose.... it’s crazy how fast she grew up! But here is to you, Mo!!! So, so proud!!!
