"So I went back to England for a few weeks; and of course my mum’s sent me home with a care parcel filled with all sort of sweets and goodies I can’t exactly eat.” Celeste knew the idea behind her mother’s action. She knew the woman was pushing her to break out of her shell a bit more, offer the non-vegan snacks to others in town and hopefully make some friends in the process. And while the petite brunette was skeptical of the fact it would help her make any friends, she still felt inclined to offer up the snacks to those she was at least already cordial with. “Would you care for a Jelly Baby? Or a chocolate orange?” She lifted the package out of the box, eying it for a moment before letting out a nostalgic sigh. Chocolate oranges always reminded her of Christmas; and right now, they reminded her of how much her parents had begged her to stay through the holidays. She would’ve in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for finals and the fact she had to get back to the studio to finish the choreography for the company’s upcoming production of The Nutcracker. Most of her little girls were mice; and she couldn’t wait to see them up on the stage in a few weeks.
