TV wish for 2018: a break from procedural structure. Life is so damn stressful already, and everything that’s happening is halfway through fictional, and that’s why I need the stories I love to be different and new and real - I don’t need doctors rushing into a diagnosis and saving two kids (but not the old man) in forty-five minutes. I don’t need detectives arresting five murderers a week while reflecting on the many similarities between carving someone’s face off and their own romantic lives. I’m seriously so tired of all that - I think that every show in existence should make 2018, and specifically the half season they’ve got left before the summer hiatus, the year of the Scandi Drama Format - ten episodes which give the characters time to solve one Really Big Problem (not nine, and not twenty) and also, I don’t know, chill with their cats and develop as people beyond those two tropes they’re written around? Please?
HTGAWM: How do you know Christophe?
I’ve been very off my nerdy tv watching / re-watching/ theorizing game, so forgive me if something in season 1 makes this one impossible etc:
Frank (and all of us) want to know how Laurel’s family and Dominick knew Wes and how they knew his real name. I find myself thinking back to exactly how worried Wes’s mother Rose was about being deported when Wes was really young. She was so scared, she didn’t even want to let Annalise help her in court; she figured if she testified and said the wrong thing, that would be all it would take.
That emphasizes for me that when she and Wes came to the states, they didn’t do it legally. Somebody must have helped arrange that. What if Laurel’s family played a hand in Wes and his mother coming to America? Laurel’s dad seems to be involved in every other sketchy deal in town, so why not this? Thoughts?
if you dont watch HTGAWM then whatcha doing with your life?????
Are Aja & Jack together?
I love seeing them in each other’s pics. it’s so darn adorable
Is anyone watching How To Get Away with Murder?
Bonnie better not die. OMG that would fuck Annalise up big time.
a summary of how to get away with murder
Season 1: Who killed Sam?
Season 2: Who shot Annalise?
Season 3: Who is under the sheet?
Season 4: Where is Laurel’s baby? Who’s dead? Why is Asher in jail? Why is Annalise covered in blood? Whose blood was it at Annalise’s apartment? Basically the question, what the hell happened that night?
