The HTC Puccini (Now called the Jetstream) is released!
So a couple of days ago I wrote a bit about the HTC Puccini, funny enough today it was officially released! The now named HTC Jetstream has been released on AT&T in the US. The Jetstream packs a 10.1 inch screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor (Snapdragon for those of you who care) and of course Android 3.1 Honeycomb skinned with HTC's Sense UI (User Interface). Now this all sounds pretty good right? I mean HTC makes good looking quality products with great interfaces! But there's always a downside so here it comes... The Jetstream is priced at $850 US which equates to about $1000 NZ at the current exchange rate... So put this price together with Android having limited "decent" apps, the ongoing cost to use 3G data and to me you end up with a pretty average product... So unfortunately it doesn't look like it's going to be replacing my iPad any time soon! What about you? Is the HTC Jetstream right for you?
