Water Purification and Fires has been uploaded to the How to Do Everything From Scratch website.
This one was honestly already largely done and is much shorter than the farming/gardening document which is why it got up fairly quickly. It may take longer for others to get up but what I have gotten furthest on so far otherwise are: food preparation and storage, emergency first aid (this will take a while I need to find a medical person to fact check) and some about farm animals, so those are most likely to show up next but it will definitely be at least a month before that happens.
that said, if anyone knows any dulas or midwives who would be interested in answering some questions (pregnancies and periods will not stop just because infrastructure failure) I would be very grateful
okay, spent this evening updating the materials everything is made out of. Three scarves are made out of acrylic, but are priced the same as homespun stuff to try and help balance keeping the homespun things low priced. Otherwise, updated which ones are wool, which are alpaca, and the type of wool, because we have mohair, leicester, and I think angora but will double check w mom when she wakes up again.
shipping outside US may need to add some money as the shipping overseas seems to be like... the price of the hats themselves sometimes. As a heads up to anyone looking at these right now.

Htdefs has gotten to 120+ pages and it’s starting to take a while for everything to load, so I broke the most finished parts of it into smaller pieces that I can hopefully focus more on since maybe it won’t be quite so overwhelming.
I’ve honestly gotten the most work done on the medical section, but it’s also the section I’m most hesitant to put out without getting someone to actually double check things. But for some reason no medical person feels comfortable giving out diy debridement instructions
also i literally can’t ask people to help with the “no, literally from scratch, tell me how to make a hypodermic needle from feathers” without absolutely sounding insane, so that might be an issue, too.
....maybe I can at least get some animal husbandry stuff out otl
