Hi! My, uh, my name's Zion Spangler, and my coworkers encouraged me to audition for this Holiday to Die For, as ominous as that sounds. They reminded me it can't be much worse than what I deal with at my day job, and I'm 27. Am I in my mid-20s or my late-20s? I don't know what, but I'm starting to feel like I've been holding myself back a bit from finding the right person to share my life with.
I'm not a big dater - I'm married to my job as one of Brindleton PD's finest detectives, and when I clock out, I usually drive a bit out of town to dance all night in the club. I love a bangin' DJ, and maybe I've banged a few DJs in my time! (looks offscreen) Should we cut that? I mean, it's not like I do it all the time. Sure, I've got kinks and I'm bringing my Sasquatch suit just in case, but I'm not that guy, you know? I like to be respectful.

I'm sorry. There were free drinks in the waiting room and I haven't let loose lately. I'm so rusty. Ask me anything, I dare you! Okay, I'll tell you: I grew up with Mormons and have dreams about living as a spellcaster sometimes. I don't know where they come from, but life can get stressful and in those dreams I get to fly, so I like having them.
We just put this really big case to bed involving a cartel and a body in the Bay, so I really could use a vacation. My coworkers think it's cute that I'm the only single detective on the force and try to set me up any time we go to the Salty Paw after work. But the girls and guys in Brindleton Bay aren't really my scene, and I'm kind of excited to dance the night away with Winter.
What is there to know about me? Well like I said, I'm a detective, married to my job, I'm unflirty, cheerful, and a dance machine. I have level 5 skill in dancing, level 4 fitness, and level 4 logic. I'm bi sometimes, but I don't really put labels on it. You just lock eyes on the dance floor and you don't even need to flirt. You just know.

What makes Marco naughty? Maybe the trail of broken hearts he's left behind? Eh, he says it's their fault. How about his terrible temper which he can't seem to control and it scares him every time because he doesn't want to turn out like his dad? Or his inability to form a true connection with anybody because he's scared of being abandoned again, so he leaves everyone before they leave him? Hm... no comment from him.
He's not all bad though! He can be nice! Though he'll deny it 'til his dying breath, he's got a total soft spot for kids and animals. Doesn't mean he's good with them but hey, he tries his best.

i use the bare skintones as well but i don't believe it's default? i didn't include it in the file so he might look crazy 😭 if he does, i'd really appreciate it if you'd change it to the skin tone below! dunno where it is if you use the genetics version unfortunately :( just pick one that looks close enough i suppose

Biography
Meet Wade, an animal-lover who's in his first year as a full-fledged veterinarian! He comes from a large and busy family; Wade is the 3rd of 5 children from 2 parents, a father and a non-binary parent. The oldest of the 5 kids, Wade's older brother Caspian, also has a family of his own now, so in total there are 9 members in Wade's family! (Caspian has a wife and an infant daughter) Wade is also the older brother of Isla Vinca, who is currently competing in another BC challenge!
Wade grew up as a sweet and happy-go-lucky kid, but the chaos of growing up in a big family has resulted in Wade preferring the company of animals over people. He loves any and all animals; he doesn't have a favorite! Environmentally-conscious thanks in part to his Sulani upbringing, Wade decided early in life he wanted to help animals in need, and so he became a veterinarian! He's only treating dogs and cats for now, but he hopes to expand his care to horses and wild animals in the future so he can help all animals survive and thrive!
Wade was partially inspired by his little sister Isla to compete in a BC for himself, but he also wants to learn how to socialize with people outside of his family (and experience cold weather for once!) He knows he'll be shy at first, but he hopes to overcome that. Who knows what will happen?
